Pretty interesting article. But if Randy and TO had a QB like Peyton Manning, who would have the better stats? I'd go for Moss but it depends on the situation.

TO is a proven lock for big games, tho i hate his off field tactics, he is money when the "lights" are on

TO is the more dependable reciever while moss can make the more spectacular play

I would rather have TO any day of the week... He is solid week in and week out, Moss is just a deep threat usually. (but a dang good one)

Moss is by far more talented then TO. TO can take a short route into a 40 yard gain but Moss is a threat to score on every pass. I think Bill Belichek(sorry for spelling) said he never had coverages designed to stop one WR. That WR was Moss. Personally I rather have Marvin Harrison or a Chad Johnson on my team but for a day. Gimme Moss.

Moss by far. People think he is only a deep threat, but if he gets space he will get his yards.

In any given game, it is almost a guarantee that he will have a big play. He is the single greatest weapon in the NFL.

its not moss by far at all dude... moss can make more spectacular plays than TO but TO will catch the ball on a simple comeback route, then break a couple tackles and take is 70 yards to the house. moss could never do that. it may be your opinion that moss is better but hes not better by much

TO is the man on short passes, and Moss is the man on deep balls.

Moss has done that, albeit it is not his strong point. He has taken simple WR screen passes and taken it to the house. The Vikings often used Moss on reverses and as a QB as well.

TO is good, but his hands are not solid. Moss doesn't drop passes. He is consistently triple teamed but still makes plays. He has better awareness around him. Around the goal line there is no better threat than Moss...way better than TO for a fade route in the endzone.

This shouldn't be interpreted as a slight on TO. The reason there is an argument on this at all is because TO is a phenomonal athlete.

Moss, he is a deep threat as well as Santana, and other fast recievers. But he is so used to running streaks he has "specialized" in that. But if you watch some of the videos and you will see that he isn't good at routes. Particularly posts inside or slants inside. TO, he is exceptional in all situations but if they had to have a race going streak routes, Moss would win. Routes, TO probably. And TO is also good with double coverage.

I totally disagree. Greatest weapon in the NFL? To whose team? He does as much if not more to destroy his own team as he does to anyone elses. Randy Moss isn't even the greatest player at his position in the NFL. He could be. He has the most talent, but instead his bad attitude negates his great ability. I still say that comparing the abilities of Moss and Owens is like comparing bad apples and rotten oranges. Moss may have better speed and hands than Owens, but he's a fraidy cat. Those great hands are useless on his alligator arms and he gets those a lot. In the long run, who cares? I wouldn't want either punk on my team. You can't be a diva AND a great player in the NFL. I'll take the Marvin Harrisons, Hines Wards and Jimmy Smiths of the league over cancers like Randy Moss and Terrell Owens any day.
