On their home floor, the Bulls should have a swagger when they go into the fourth quarter with a 10-point lead.

The fans certainly are behind them. Unlike several NBA teams who get dismal fan support, the Bulls draw enthusiastic crowds at the United Center.

Instead of getting a charge from a sellout crowd of 21,720 Friday night in their matchup with the Wizards, the Bulls dragged, going 6 minutes 7 seconds without a field goal in the final quarter.

Their funk allowed the Wizards to score 10 unanswered points before a tip-in by Tyson Chandler revived the Bulls in a 90-79 victory.

It was only fitting for Chandler to get the Bulls going again in their third straight victory. He turned in a solid performance for the third game in a row, an unprecedented achievement for him this season. It was probably the first time he earned an embrace from Bulls coach Scott Skiles after a game.

"When I started performing, coach gave me playing time out there," Chandler said. "He has confidence in me, and I have confidence that he is going to leave me out there."

Chandler scored 12 points, far from stellar for most NBA players, but considering he came in averaging a career-low 4.8 points a game, his point total was outstanding.

Skiles and general manager John Paxson say they care more about his rebounding anyway. He was a force there, grabbing a season high 20 rebounds.

"I'm happy for Tyson," Skiles said. "I'm sure a good amount of the grief he has gone through has been self-imposed. He has kind of tortured himself for the games he hasn't played as well in. And then it spilled over, game after game. Then you just continue to torture yourself. He really has broken out the last three games."</div>

I’m really impressed with what Tyson has done lately. Throughout his career with the Bulls Tyson has been notorious for slow starts. I remember last season he started off slow, got benched, fans where booing him, then out of no where he turned it around and about the same time the Bulls started winning. Chandler has the potential to be a great player in the league within a couple of years, but he has to dedicate himself more during the off season.

This off season their was the excuse he used, that he did not want to play to much basketball during the summer, so not to risk injury. The season before that it was something along those lines as well, but at least that year he had hit the weight room a little. Anyway, like MJ said I hope Tyson can keep this up, and the Bulls as a team can continue winning. They have some winnable games coming up I think they can get a couple of games over .500 by all star break. They started off much worse than this last season, so it is not impossible.

Also another thing that has to be noted as a huge reason for our improvement, has been the play of Ben Gordon in the starting lineup. The man is simply incredible he has become a much better rebounder since being made a starter, and his offensive game has also improved. He went from about a 14-2-2 guy off the bench to a 20-5-5 guy in the starting lineup. His play has been very intriguing and I hope he keeps it up. I have not heard a Ben Gordon trade rumor in over a month, nor a Deng rumor so it looks like the organization has seen that this is going to be our future.

If we trade Gordon or Deng we are stupid.
