Lakers Trade Breakdown Outgoing Kwame Brown 6-11 C from Glynn Academy (HS) 5.8 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 0.9 apg in 25.7 minutes Sasha Vujacic 6-7 SG from Slovenia (Foreign) 4.0 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 1.8 apg in 19.0 minutes Incoming Jamaal Magloire 6-11 C from Kentucky 10.2 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 0.6 apg in 31.8 minutes Change in team outlook: +0.4 ppg, +2.3 rpg, and -2.1 apg. Milwaukee Trade Breakdown Outgoing Jamaal Magloire 6-11 C from Kentucky 10.2 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 0.6 apg in 31.8 minutes Incoming Kwame Brown 6-11 C from Glynn Academy (HS) 5.8 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 0.9 apg in 25.7 minutes Sasha Vujacic 6-7 SG from Slovenia (Foreign) 4.0 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 1.8 apg in 19.0 minutes Change in team outlook: -0.4 ppg, -2.3 rpg, and +2.1 apg. What you think?
I would do the deal for Magloire in a heartbeat. He's already better than Kwame Brown, and Sasha is easily replaced. Magloire can get the Lakers a double-double every night, something we all were hoping Kwame could do.

BTW..from now on can you guys name a player or two and I'll see what kind of trade is possible...every now and then I'll put one of my own, but if you want to see if a trade owrks or you want to see what we give up...just let me know
L.A. Lakers Trade Breakdown Outgoing Luke Walton 6-8 SF from Arizona 4.2 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 2.5 apg in 18.1 minutes Stanislav Medvedenko 6-10 PF from Ukraine (Foreign) 1.0 ppg, 0.0 rpg, 0.5 apg in 3.5 minutes Devean George 6-8 SF from Augsburg-MN 6.7 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 1.0 apg in 22.8 minutes Incoming Steven Hunter 7-0 C from DePaul 4.9 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 0.3 apg in 17.6 minutes Kyle Korver 6-7 SF from Creighton 11.2 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 2.4 apg in 32.3 minutes Change in team outlook: +4.2 ppg, -0.4 rpg, and -1.3 apg. Philadelphia Trade Breakdown Outgoing Steven Hunter 7-0 C from DePaul 4.9 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 0.3 apg in 17.6 minutes Kyle Korver 6-7 SF from Creighton 11.2 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 2.4 apg in 32.3 minutes Incoming Luke Walton 6-8 SF from Arizona 4.2 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 2.5 apg in 18.1 minutes Stanislav Medvedenko 6-10 PF from Ukraine (Foreign) 1.0 ppg, 0.0 rpg, 0.5 apg in 3.5 minutes Devean George 6-8 SF from Augsburg-MN 6.7 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 1.0 apg in 22.8 minutes Change in team outlook: -4.2 ppg, +0.4 rpg, and +1.3 apg. I think Korver can be great alongside Kobe mainly cause Kobe is going to draw double-triple teams..allowing Korver to stick those 3's that we seem to have a hard time making sometimes....Hunter is also a nice frontcourt player who can rebound and block...any points from him are bonuses and usually off putbacks...this trade could set up a Kwame trade...but who knows.

Successful Scenario There were BYC players involved in this trade, so this trade is subject to the BYC provisions of the CBA. Due to L.A. Lakers, Philadelphia, New York and Orlando being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. L.A. Lakers, Philadelphia, New York and Orlando had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out unless trade exceptions were used for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/trademachine Its a new trade machine. Much better then RealGms. It has the salaries and everything.
Dream Trade Pg-Quentin Richardson/Parker/head Sg-Kobe Bryant/Sasha/Von Wafer Sf-Tracy McGrady/Walton Pf-Cook or Brown/Cook or Brown C- Chris M./A.Bynum http://games.espn.go.com/nba/feature...13~13~13~13~18
Yeahh....thats not happening...only thing I don't like is getting Q.....I just don't like his game that much...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting K8B:</div><div class="quote_post">I love that Pierce trade. I think sooner or later, Pierce is going to end up in an L.A. team. He is possibly the league's most underrated star, and he wants a championship. It's not going to happen in Boston, but alongside Kobe, it could happen.</div> Ummmm........yeah, don't want to change the subject, but Shawn Marion is the most underrated player in the NBA.
If this trade ever went down (which it won't) it probably will be the biggest trade ever to go down: New York Outgoing: Channing Frye Maurice Taylor Jamal Crawford Quentin Richardson Incoming: Kevin Garnett Raja Bell Leandro Barbose Minnesota Outgoing: Kevin Garnett Incoming: Brian Cook Quentin Richardson Kwame Brown Jim Jackson Los Angeles Outgoing: Brian Cook Kwame Brown Lamar Odom Incoming: Jamal Crawford Shawn Marion Phoenix Outgoing: Jim Jackson Raja Bell Leandro Barbosa Shawn Marion Incoming: Channing Frye Maurice Taylor Lamar Odom This is a VERY risky trade for all ball clubs except for maybe New York. This trade works out all ways, and gives us an EXCELLENT player in Shawn Marion, and a good player in Crawford. Now to look for ways to get Garnett!
Then our starting lineup would be: PG Jamal Crawford SG Kobe Bryant SF Shawn Marion PF Ronny Turiaf C Chris Mihm Best if this trade is done in the offseason. And, get rid of Kupchak, hire Colangelo, and try to sign a better PF and/or C. New York likes this trade because they finally get that Stephon/Garnett duo they wanted, and now they throw Stevie Franchise in the mix? Phoenix likes this deal because they get a young star with LOADS of potential with Channing Frye, they get LO to fill the gap for Marion, and they get a $9M expiring contract. Minny likes this deal because they get LOADS of talent in Q., and MAYBE Kwame will be the self-proclaimed "beast" in Minny. They also get sharpshooter Brian Cook, or they can let go the contracts of Jim Jackson and Cook. LA likes this deal because they FINALLY get rid of LO, and have 2 GREAT defensive players in the league (Kobe+Shawn), and Crawford and Kobe backcourt is killer. This trade is hardest to do if you are Phoenix, so I think that they will be getting a draft pick or two from this deal. Trade ID in realgm.com: 3001072 Also works on ESPN's trade checker.
I'll condense this a little bit, it works: Lakers get: Kevin Garnett Luther Head Sixers get: Tracy McGrady Rashad McCants Timberwolves get: Allen Iverson Michael Bradley Dikembe Mutombo Houston get (probably the hardest trade for them): Lamar Odom Kwame Brown 1st Round Draft Pick from ????? Houston get:
