How can the Suns blow a 17 point lead and lose to the Cavs? They were on top the entire game until the end of the third quarter, what went wrong?
This is part of the game.Suns are a good team so you're only gonna see few of those games as a Suns fan.As a Sixers fan I know what Im talking about, they have blown more leads than Milt Palacio has been named the GOAT on this board.

It's okay. It happens. We haven't done this since the couple of games at the start of the season so it's alright.
The way the Suns play (high paced game and reliance on perimeter shooting), teams can make big runs on them, and vice-versa. Just like they could outscore a team by 20 in the span of a four or five minutes, they can also be outscored by an opponent in the same manner when they're shots aren't falling and their defense slips.
LeBron was going off, and the Suns were struggling to hit their shots in the last 5-7 minutes of the 4th. That's pretty much it.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting The Soft Parade:</div><div class="quote_post">Pretty much cleared it up there, but usually you don`t see that too often with the Suns.</div> They lost a huge lead in the 4th quarter (I think 20+) last season against the Cavs as well. Phoenix will allow opponents to make big runs against them. Unfortunately, this one happened near the end of the game.
Their defense is better now though. After the beggining of the season when they got used to the new faces on the team this really has not happened. Amare would help a lot though. We'd have someone besides Kurt Thomas inside that can block shots and get those rebounds. And we need his help on offense now. We are last in the league in free throws attempted and he used to help us out there. And our offense inside is pretty bad, especially when Thomas gets in foul trouble.
No Raja Bell He would not have guarded James, however his defensive rotations and overall defensive awarness was missed. The suns defensive rotations kept freeing up James on the three, who played remarkably- you gotta give him a lot of credit. On a side note does anyone know what happened to Bell? I heard it was some thigh contusion but I don't know how long he'll be out or when he injured it?

If he gets injured beyond just missing a couple of games, I'd say we're in a heap of trouble. Especially considering how his scoring has stepped up lately too.
