Odumb & Kwame = Dumb & Dumber These two have to be the most overpriced busts in the NBA. I am getting tired of watching Kwame stumbling around the court not having a clue what to do, while other players run past him on defense and ignore him on offense because he doesn't know what to do with the ball when he gets it and has no idea how to rebound. It's not that difficult, watch some tapes of Rodman. Odumb has a near triple double one night and forgets how to play the next three games. Mitch got these two, now it's time to trade them before the rest of the league realizes how bad they are. These two are the worst Lakers I have seen in 25 years as a fan.
I agree with you on these two players. They seem to be getting progressively worse as the season goes on. I've heard countless excuses for Lamar Odom not being productive here. At the end of the day it comes down to him being in the wrong system. Any system that requires Lamar Odom to think is the wrong system for him. After reading some of the comments by PJax and Kobe today, I think both are fed up with Odom. Before the season started Tex Winters warned PJax that Odom is not capable of being the initiator for the Triangle offense. It's time for the organization to unload Odom. I don't care about getting equal value for him at this point either. Trade him for an expiring contract or just trade him for two players who can bring some consistency to the Lakers. Kwame Brown is impossible to trade at this point, we are stuck with him. Thank god Ronny Turiaf should be ready to play in a week or so. I can almost guarantee he's going to take all of Kwame's minutes at PF.
What about Odom and Bynum for KG? SI says they are shopping him which of course is just a rumor but everyone know's it's getting progressively worse in Minnesota between their star and management.
Agreed. It is time to get rid of these two. Dump Kwame on somebody or send him to the NBDL. I'm curious if he can even play at that level. There was a Laker game on TV a few weeks ago where Kwame was actually standing in the circle of a jumpball and he wasn't one of the players desginated to jump for the ball. The ref had to remind him that he was out of place, once again. Dime Magazine wondered if Odom was this generation's Derrick Coleman. I'm starting to see that more and more, despite my love for his skills.

Do you think the Pacers were ever considering an Artest/Odom swap? If he can't deal with the triangle offense he probably would have struggled with a Carlisle offence. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting ilive4ball:</div><div class="quote_post">What about Odom and Bynum for KG? The drawing power of such a team would easily attract players to fill in any holes at PG, SF, and C.

One report said Odom was deemed "untouchable." Another report said the Pacers didn't want Odom because of his contract and Bird didn't want to have to include anyone else in any deal involving Artest. Well basketball is definitely Odom's sport, just not anything organized or professional. He needs the ball to be an effective player, but the Triangle rewards players who move well without the ball.
They are just a joke. Bond they together cant worth a damn penny. I just dont understand why Lakers pick kwame last year. He was proven to be a dumb player when he was in the wizzard. Dont think Phil is that magic to coach a stupid guy like him to play good bball.
i really used to think lamar was just adjusting with the lakers last year but now he's not even worth watcing anymore... i wish we could trade or at least he play better
Odumb + Bynum + Madvadenko + Miami 1st round FOR Garnett + Troy Hudson P.S. Chances of this happening while Bitch Kuptchak is our manager is 0%
Chances of Minnesota trading KG For Odom and change is 0% Chances of Minnesota trading KG to the west is also just about 0% don't delude yourselves laker fans..
well, to his credit, he played better tonite...he only had 5 TOs tonite, lol .. Seriously though, the thing about Odom - and sadly I've been saying this for years so I dont see him resolving it - is that he lacks any sort of an off-hand and that severly hinders his play and makes him totally predictable. Even on that three point play where he went the length of the court today...the announcers were raving about how he was switching directions, but if u noticed, not once did the ball go into his other hand. That's why he picks up so many offensive fouls ! Guys anticipate him and his moves easily

I agree with you Tradebark, our best chance would have been swapping Shaq for KG. The Lakers have nothing to really offer Minnesota, and Lurch would never do anything to help out the Lakers. I just hope KG uses his ETO and opts out of his deal in 2007-08. Chances of him opting out 50%
Give Sox Kwame's minutes! <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Lakerland:</div><div class="quote_post">kwame aint dumb, he just sucks......hes an average defender/rebounder tho, ill give him that</div> Give Sox Bynum Kwame's minutes at least until we can trade or pickup a legit power forward, he can't be any worse than KB. Kwame=over priced back up center for life.
