Okay. Maybe it's not as good as Carter's but the way Iguodala does it, it's different. It looks a little arkward but still nice nonetheless and he is one of the only players that actually brings it ALLLLL the way around and then slam it home. Whatever though. Let's just wait till the contest. =D

Ahh this contest is going to be doodoo cuz no JR Smith. Naw I'm just joking but I'm just curious to see what Iggy can do more then anything else. If Nate does complete that reverse between the legs that would be the dunk of the night. As far as nba dunk contest, the shortest guy that has done a dunk through the legs has been J-Rich. Which is 8 inches taller then Nate.

I don't mean to be....stupid or something, but i went to the Sixers game today. In the warm up I saw Korver do a 360 dunk and a double pump dunk. I saw it from about 50 ft away, i am POSITIVE it was him.

I really wanted to see JR Smith again, that behind to back dunk was sick. I expect Josh Smith to come out falshy like last year.

For those of you who are wondering about Hakim Warrick, I've got a highlight clip. None of the dunks are amazing, but it gives you the idea that he is a long, athletic, and quick dunker, like Stromile Swift.

I really don't see him doing well, because the dunk contest is completely different from his bread and butter dunks. His best dunks are his dunks over other players. In college he made a habit out of dunking on two, three, or maybe even four defenders because of his really long arms. He's not your typical fastbreak dunker though, and he hasn't shown that much creativity. So while he's a great dunker, he's just not right for this kind of setting.

I agree. He seems to have the same problem that Amare had last year. Lots of power but little creativity. I think the NBA just adds one of these kind of guys each year so people can point and laugh at them when they can't do anything spectacular. [IMG]

Smush Parker and Von Wafer should have been included. These two put on their own competition during the Laker pre-game. I'm also surprised JR Smith wasn't invited to this event. I don't see anyone challenging Josh Smith, the field is weaker than last year so he should run the table.

I think one way to make the Dunk Contest exciting again is to get rid of the two year rule. Open up the field and then have the best dunkers in the NBA face off against the best dunkers from the And1 Mix Tape Tour.

A 5-9 point guard is gonna boost the hype for the contest already. But I`m glad Iggy made it, that was a releif. Smith can jump out of the gym, we know that, but I haven`t seen much of Warrick`s dunks. I`m excited though, I really can`t wait to see what Nate and Iggy pull off.

I wanted to see Von Wafer in the contest. They should have more competitors like years ago.

Yes there is, you cannot participate if you've been in the league for more than 2 seasons. The dunk contest is reserved for only rookies & sophmores.

Its actually a 3 year rule, lebron was asked and he's in his 3rd year. amare was in his 3rd year last year in the comp.

According to the poll on the official home of the 06 ASG majority of the people have Iguodala winning the dunk contest.

Its a shame chris anderson can't compete this year, because no one gets higher than the birdman.

Yea its definitely at least a 3 year rule, b/c Lebron was invited.

If it is only 3rd year players and less, then I guess Lebron will never play in the dunk contest unlike the original 23.

I think Smith will win it again, but Iguodala's gonna give him a run for his money...

I wonder why JR Smith wasnt in it this year...If he didnt have freakin Chris Anderson throwing those bad passes last year, he woulda given Josh a good run...
