Yeah, this new crop of guys have been really committed to being hard on the defensive end. Dirk is still a wreck on D, but Howard has really stepped it up for the whole bunch. Unfortunately we can't use the Allas joke anymore
Totally agree Mavs fan, but unfortunately all other fans get a common perception that we are still the Allas Mavericks with Irk Nowitzki. They still believe the rubbish Charles Barkley spews, but it is quite clearly not true. Since Avery got at the helm (and even a bit before it) we have improved, and Dirk's defense has been steadily improving every year.
