<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Trade Checker Trade of the Week Here?s one I?d like to see get done b/c parts of it have been rumored, some of these guys are looking to get moved and God, I think the Knicks are pathetic: To Toronto Trevor Ariza 6-8 SF from UCLA 4.8 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 1.3 apg in 19.9 minutes Jamal Crawford 6-5 SG from Michigan 14.6 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 3.7 apg in 32.9 minutes Maurice Taylor 6-9 PF from Michigan 6.7 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 0.6 apg in 17.4 minutes Antonio Davis 6-9 C from Texas-El Paso 5.0 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 0.4 apg in 21.1 minutes To New York Pape Sow 6-10 PF from Cal State Fullerton 3.8 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 0.2 apg in 13.7 minutes Mike James 6-2 PG from Duquesne 16.8 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 5.1 apg in 34.4 minutes Eric Williams 6-8 SF from Providence 1.6 ppg, 1.6 rpg, 0.4 apg in 9.8 minutes Alvin Williams 6-5 PG from Villanova 1.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 0.0 apg in 9.0 minutes Jalen Rose 6-8 SG from Michigan 12.1 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 2.4 apg in 26.5 minutes Ariza, Pape Sow, E-Dub and Mo Taylor are doghouse guys, though you never can tell with LB in NYC. Alvin Williams hasn?t played meaningful basketball since his days at Villanova, but his money comes off soon. Same for Sir Antonio Davis, Jalen Rose, Mike James and pretty much everyone else. Zeke loves Jalen Rose, always has, LB loves Mike James and Jamal Crawford is destined to play in Canada. Hell, throw in Mo Pete for the goof. C?mon, make it happen. </div> http://www1.realgm.com/src_goaltending/71/...weekly_musings/
I don't know why Toronto would want Antonio back since what he did to try get out of here in the first place. Jamal Crawford is good but he's too streaky and doesn't play well on the defensive side. Ariza is a young potential player, which he may not be good or bad. Mo Taylor just has a huge contract which has like 2 years left. I don't mean to bash any one but this trade is stupid.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MrJ:</div><div class="quote_post">Hell to the nah. I think that goes both ways.</div> I agree, especially with Antonio coming back, I don't think he would want to at all.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Raps-CB4:</div><div class="quote_post">no no no and no we want to keep mike james</div> Meh .. you gotta give something to get something ... i'd rather take the money mike james is going to demand and spend it on a younger player. Trade is still not what either team is looking for but i think using players like Pop Sow and Mike James as trade bait is a decent idea. I think Sow has great potential but he's better off on another team as we already have a few undersized front court players - i think we should swap him for someone with similar potential who plays at the 2 or the 3 in order to balance out our roster. We could really use someone who drives the basketball consistantly out on the wing.
i think the 2 second round picks we got today will be packaged along with Rose and head to NY because thomas wanted denvers first round pick for penny and now that we have about 3 2nd round picks (including our own) we can package lets say Rose and NO 2nd round pick for Penny
I would not want to trade Mike James, nor Pape Sow...and the only player that would interest me is probably Ariza, especially in the rebuilding process the Raps are in.
