the jets are gonna have to find a QB through a trade or maybe get Quincy Carter, if Jay Fiedler is hurt for a long time

Carter is likely not an option from what I've heard. Fielder is out for along time and Pennington is going to see a specialists this week yet. It might not be the cuff it might be just cartiledge which would be a sigh of relief for Jets fans. If it is a torn rotator cuff it could be career threatning as well though.

This is considered good news to the Ravens in week 4.

Feidler is out 3 wks or so I heard.

Rumor is that Vinny Testaverde is expecting a call from Herm.

no not vinny again oooooooo mannnnnnnnnn. its over the season is over. ughhhh. Personatly i'd rather have Jay Fiedler in I really hope he gets back soon and isnt hurt bad. Then i'd rather have Brooks Bollinger the third stringer playing over Vinny, Brooks is a good thrower and i think he can do well, hes very mobile too. Despite all that Vinny did for the Jets i think i had enough of him around the 2002 area. When he sucked horribly then Chad came in and was our savior. DAMN INJURIES. Chad has so much fuckin potential and his bum shoulder is just screwing it all up. I dont think he'll ever be the same QB he was gonna be when he did so great in 2002. The scary thing is that the Jets just signed him to a 7 year bajillion dollar contract. I hope there is a clause or something plz let there be. I'm hoping Jay is back soon and that Vinny is not called on to play. LETS GO BROOKS.... sigh

I hope they get Vinny..because at least I know he'll get the ball the coles all over the field and it will help my fantasy team.

Vinny wouldnt be comfortable with the offense, as they have a new offensive coordinator. Did u see Vinny with the 'Boys last year he really sucked it up. Bollinger is a mobile QB who knows where to put the ball, hes not that bad i've seen him play. If he does good vs the Ravens he'll be the QB until Feidler gets back.

I'm hoping Feidler comes back in time for round 2 w/ Miami. It would only be right for Jay to throw a TD that Miami scores on.

BA scores with a chair shot to Feidler's noggin. (Of course, he's kinda hard to miss. You just aim between Dumbo's ears.)

I know Vinny would suck..,,but I bet he'd throw the ball to coles alot...and sorry he'd be better than a third string QB with what 9 passes in his career..can anyone say Loseman but worse? Lets get this straight I'm only worried about my fantasy squad here..not the success of the Jets. hehe

Ya they already agreed on terms...I'm definitely happy he will be there and I'm sure he will take the job from Bollinger....my boy coles will be his favorite target.

I was going for the verbal equivalent of sweet chin music.

Dale, did you remember the aqua & orange paint?

It's offical. Vinny has signed as has former Texas Tech star Kliff Kingsbury - not Zach Thomas. [IMG]

I had heard that Rivers may be on his way to NY as the Titans probably won't part w/ Volek.

The only drawback to PR going to the big apple is I was hoping he'd end up in Miami next March.

However, (Chargers GM) AJ Smith held the same capacity in Buffalo and doubt IMO he'd trade w/ the green weenies.

I wanted River to backup Delhomme(and eventually take over), i hope Rivers becomes a free agent and comes back to NC

I think the Jets should tough it out with Vinny and draft Marcus Vick next year.

That would be stupid. This team isn't getting any younger and is built to go the distance now. They need to find a consistent QB in free agency. Maybe Drew Brees. Instead of throwing in the towel with a BIG PROJECT such as Marcus Vick. Who'll probably stay for his senior year anyways.

So a free agent QB that wasn't good enough to play on any of the other 31 squads will make the difference in winning a championship? I didn't realize just how good the Jets were. Wow.

Have you ever seen Marcus Vick play? No more of a project than any other rookie, but with tons of upside.
