    Among the highlights:
Kevin Martin went for 20 in the first half and lead all scorers with 25
Kings hold the Nuggets below their scoring avarage
Bonzi gets three steals which helped to make up for his 1 of 4 from the stripe in his return

Overall, I gotta say that there was actually some defense goin on tonight. And it wasnt just TRAIFE (see sig for what that means). Their offense was fairly lackluster and they won this game defensively.

Yeah I saw some of this game on ESPN. You can see Artest's impact on the defensive end, by being able to shutdown one side of the court and make it easier for his teammates. They don't have to worry about helping out on the top scorer from the opposing team.

Artest made Melo work for all his baskets and just wore him down.

Huge lift by Martin off the bench, something the Kings have been struggling with this season is bench production.

This win was the most important game of the season for the Kings. After a crushing loss to the Raptors and a horrible 1-5 road trip the Kings were still able to come home and beat a good team. Just goes to show how inconsistent this team is.
Are all Kings fans thoroughly enjoying the Artest era as much as I am? As a Kings fan its weird/great when you realize you dont have to worry too much about the other teams top perimeter player. I just wish that whole not wanting to be traded to SAC fiasco hadnt happened.

Last night Legler was drawing some comparisons to Webber. He said at one time Webber didn't want to play in Sacramento, but he helped revive the Kings franchise. He said Artest has the potential to have the same impact, especially if the Kings can make the playoffs this season.

I think the next road game is really going to tell you what the season will hold..
look bad loosing? its gonna be one ugly year
come out and put them away quick? there will be a faint glimmer of hope for the post season.

for this team to make it to the playoffs, they are going to have to start winning on the road...
