I was planning to go to the dunk contest or any of the all star festiviteis but i just found out that tickets are not on sale to the public. The guy said that the NBA handles tickets for the 3point, dunk, skills challenge, etc and may not release any to the public!! My question is how can you do this?!?! It's in houston how come no houstonians can get tickets?! That really pissed me off!!
Money hungry rich NBA owners and ticket authority trying to get as much out of one ticket. they usually only sell to company's, usually sponsors. Online ticket brokers are the only way.
Only the Sponsors get the tickets. It's really stupid that they don't sell to the public. Sadly alot of the Regular Season Rockets tickets are like that too, that's why you don't see alot of people at the games. My friends mom can get tickets to pretty much any Rockets game from where she works. She's gonna try to get some for the All-Star Game, but if she can't I won't be going to any of the evens. There's no way Im gonna pay double the price off someone on the internet.
i just heard some rather disturbing news!! it seems like one of my friends good "friend" is a season ticket holder. He has 4 tickets to the all star game, but instead of going like any basketball fan, he is SELLING THEM!!! he wants all the money he can get and this means he wont sell it to his friends! this is the most disgusting thing i have ever heard!!
