18-8 To Close out March? Am I Crazy? <Answer Inside>

Dear Diary,

well, I know we haven't spoken lately... I've been a little reluctant to talk about basketball with the way the Warriors have been playing. They had the Wizards down and then just gave the game away. Man that sucked. And then, against Indiana, their star players -- JRich and Baron -- both played terrible defense and refused to move the ball. It was hard to watch.

On a bright note, the rookies Monta Ellis and Ike Diogu, along with Andris Biedrins, those three players have really stepped it up. Biedrins has been producing consistently, and unlike Foyle he finishes what he starts inside.

Monta Ellis? I really feel like, in a few years, he'll be the best overall player on the team -- better than JRich or even Baron. Probably not nearly as flashy (though he does have guts), nah -- he was raised to be humble. But damn he appears to already be a better defender than they ever will. Plus he's just about as explosive as anyone I've watched play.

If only you could talk, my dear diary, you'd probably go tell the world how foolish I am for thinking this way. But I have a hunch about Monta. it's getting close to be that time where we find a nick-name for the kid. Do you have any ideas?

Well, the Warriors have taken 2 out of the 4 wins I circled. But, they whooped on the Nuggets, a potential loss! That means they are 3-2 since I first wrote, still well on their way to finishing March 18-8. Go Warriors!
