The remaining forwards eligible to become a reserve are Chris Bosh, Paul Pierce, Chris Webber, Peja Stojackovic, Antawn Jamison, and of course, Dwight Howard. While Howard is the youngest player out of the previous listed, he has a chance to snag the spot and possibly start since Jermaine O'Neal (the forward starter) is injured and will not play. The reserves are selected by the coaches around the NBA and Dwight seems to be getting a lot of respect in that department lately.

If you look at what Dwight has done this year, it is pretty impressive. He is averaging 15.2 PPG and a league leading 12.7 RPG. He also ranks #3 in Double Doubles (33.0), #1 in Total Rebounds (558.0), and oh yeah, he is only 20 years old. He is doing all of these things at a very young age and that could help him out when the reserves are selected.

Two forward reserves will be chosen. My guess is that Dwight Howard and Paul Pierce will be the two reserves since both are putting up great statistics this season and the coaches respect them.

What do you guys think, will Dwight Howard be selected as an All-Star reserve? You've seen my opinions and now I'm curious to see what you guys think.
