You pick 2 guards, 2 forwards, 1 center, and 2 wild cards which means they can be any positon. East Guards- Vince Carter and Chancey Billups Forwards- Chris Bosh and Rasheed Wallace Center- Ben Wallace Wild Cards- Gilbert Arenas and Richard Hamilton West Guards- Ray Allen and Baron Davis Forwards- Elton Brand and Shawn Marion Center- Marcus Camby Wild Cards- Kevin Garnett and Dirk Nowitzki
East Guards: Billups, Carter Forwards: Pierce, Bosh Center: B. Wallace Wildcards: Ilgauskus, Arenas West Guards: Parker, Paul Forwards: Nowitzki, Brand Center: Garnett Wildcards: Marion, Lewis I'm probably forgetting someone. I took Rashard in the last spot since Houston is his hometown, and he's having a pretty good year even though Seattle is struggling. And even though he's a rookie, Chris Paul deserves to be in the all-star game.
East Guards: Billups, Arenas Forwards: Pierce, Rasheed Center: B. Wallace Wildcards: Ilgauskus, Carter West Guards: Parker, Paul Forwards: Nowitzki, Brand Center: Garnett Wildcards: Marion, Lewis
East Guards: Billups, Redd Forwards: Carter, Bosh Center: B. Wallace Wildcards: Pierce, Arenas West Guards: Parker, Bibby Forwards: Nowitzki, Brand Center: Gasol Wildcards: Marion, Garnett
East Guards: Billups, Redd Forwards: Human ipod, Bosh Center: B. Wallace Wildcards: Pierce, Arenas Fill in for Jermaine: Rasheed West Guards: Ray Allen+Parker (i would choose Chris Paul actually but it's just not realistic since he's a rookie) Forwards: Dirk+Brand Center: Gasol Wildcards: Marion, Garnett
No love for the leading rebounder in the NBA? I would put him at least as a Wildcard, but then again I'm biased.
East Guards-Vince Carter and Chancey Billups Forwards- Chris Webber and Paul Pierce Center- Zydrunas Illigauskas(hes moer imprtant to the Cavs success than people think) Wild Cards- Rasheed Wallace and Gilbert Arenas Fill in for Jermaine: Dwight Howard West Guards- Chris Paul and Tony Parker Forwards- Dirk Nowitzki Kevin Garnett Center- Mehmet Okur Wild Cards- Elton Brand and Shawn Marion
Why the lack of love for Pau Gasol? He's averaging just under 20 ppg and 10 rpg on one of the top teams in the West. He seems like an obvious choice to me. Anyway, here are mine - East Guards - Gilbert Arenas, Chauncey Billups Forwards - Vince Carter, Dwight Howard Center - Ben Wallace Wild Cards - Rip Hamilton, Jason Kidd Fill-in for J.O'Neal - Chris Bosh West Guards - Tony Parker, Chris Paul/Baron Davis (I'd need this next week or so to really pick.) Forwards - Dirk Nowtizki, Shawn Marion Center - Pau Gasol Wild Cards - Kevin Garnett, Elton Brand
East Guards - Chauncey Billups, Gilbert Arenas Forwards - Vince Carter (if they count him as a forward), Dwight Howard Center - Ben Wallace Wild Cards - Rip Hamilton, Paul Pierce JO replacement - Chris Bosh West Guards - Chris Paul, Tony Parker Forwards - Dirk Nowitzki, Elton Brand Center - Pau Gasol Wild Cards - Shawn Marion, Carmelo Anthony
as a warrior fan, it's a damn shame that j-rich and baron probably are gonna miss out on the all-star game again. especially for j-rich who has played his ass off for the last couple seasons and has been overlooked...
East: Guards: Vince Carter, Chauncy Billups Forwards: Chris Bosh, Paul Pierce Center: Ben Wallace Wild Cards: Gilbert Arenas, Dwight Howard West: Guards: Chris Paul, Baron Davis Forwards: Kevin Garnett, Nowitzki Center: Marcus Camby Wild Cards: Carmelo Anthony, Elton Brand
East Guards: Chauncey Billups, Michael Redd Forwards: Dwight Howard, Paul Pierce Center: Ben Wallace Wild cards: Gilbert Arenas, Vince Carter West: Guards: Tony Parker, Chris Paul Forwards: Shawn Marion, Elton Brand Center: Pau Gasol Wild Cards: Kevin Garnett, Dirk Nowitski It's tough to give it to Redd over Carter, but Redd is the guy who has to score for the Bucks, where Carter has more help, thus making Redd more valuable, despite not having as good an all around game as Carter. The West's forwards are the toughest to pick, though. KG, Brand, Marion and Nowitski are pretty much interchangable, and Duncan got left off! I had to give it to Pau over Duncan, because Duncan's been an All Star so many times, and Pau deserves some love finally.
East: G-Billups, Hamilton F-D.Howard, Bosh C-B.Wallace W-Carter, Redd (Replacement for J.O)-R.Wallace West: G-Parker, Paul F-Nowitzki, Marion C-Camby W-Brand, Gasol
East G- Billups, Carter F- Pierce, Bosh C- B.Wallace Wild Cards: Arenas, Redd Roster Replacement for JO: Dwight Howard Starter Replacement for JO: Chris Bosh Sorry Rip.. West G- Parker, Paul F- Brand, Marion C- Gasol Wild Cards- Dirk, Anthony Ya...I left KG off. I had to do it. Carmelo has just been bananas this year, and has carried the Nuggets in the absence of Camby. He's been playing like an All-Star with or without Camby.
Yall are wrong for putting Paul as a reserve. Hype is definitely effecting it. Davis/Bibby > Paul. Maybe even Cassell > Paul.
