Pape Sow, Toronto Raptors: OK, all together now ... who? He's just the latest futile attempt by the Raptors to have what we may loosely refer to as a starting center. They signed him from the Arkansas RimRockers of the NBA's Developmental League. There's a joke in there somewhere, but suffice to say he's still in the developmental process. </div>

I thought bout it for a couple of minutes, and it's possible that he may be the worse starter but there's really no need for those comments. Pape just started starting for the Raps, and if he actually tuned it for the games he played, he would see that Pape has good defense and hustle and does a variety of things on the court, even though he's a bit foul prone at the moment. The quotation part which I highlighted in italics helps the arguement that Khan doesn't know much of what he's talking about when it comes to the Raps/Pape...since the Raps did not sign him as a player out of the D-League.

Khan should watch 5 raptor games and then come back to me and say it in front of my face that he is the worst starter, i think sow is doing better then hoffa himself.

It's not like Sow plays 30 minutes as a starter. He starts halves but doesn't play much after that. But it's true though, Sow is the "worst" starter, although it isn't quite fair.

Yah this is pretty ridiculous considering Pape only started a few games and it was only b/c Araujo's injured. I don't know why he didn't just say Araujo instead.

Mike Khan is a dumb *****, and I'm not basing it on just this article, it's a series of ignorant, misinformed articles. The guy was the Raptors' pick for God's sake, and was only sent down the D league for two months, we didn't sign him. And no, he is no where near the worst starter in the league.

This just proves that most so called "analyst" from Fox has no idea what they are talking about.

Don't even say that Kareem is the worst starter.[IMG] Do you see him in the 2004 WCF he went 7/7 from downtown to help the Lakers rally back to beat the Wolves to clinch the WCF crown. Kareem is one of the best shooters. I really like d him when he was with L.A.[IMG]

the worst starter is either white bateer or...or...royal ivey? (starting PG for atlanta but he basically just play the first 5 min then sit forever...but still..he started the game...therefore he is worth a consideration for worst starter)

Forget comparing Sow to anyone else in the league who starts - the guy was just called up to get experience. Given our roster and the donut we call center we're playing the guy so he can improve ... The guy has started like what? 3-5 games ??

Just another example of someone from the media offering an opinion on a team they have neglected to watch.... guy probably thinks bosh is playing center for us too.

He was Miami's pick actually, we traded the rights to Albert Miralles for Sow and a 2nd.

Well, if Pape Sow wasn't starting for the Raptors, and Hoffa was...Hoffa would win the 'worse starter' tag.

It doesn't matter. Any Raptor fan knows how good Pape can be. Every Raptor fan is a fan of Pape. Who cares what this guys says or thinks.

Yes, and we know if one game meant everything, that means that Hoffa might actually be a decent centre.

Kareem has the most attrocious shot selection.... The guys as streaky as they can get. I don't think he's the worst starter though.

Pape is probably also one of the lowest paid starters in the game... He goes out and plays hard all the time, Pape is a good guy.
