Hawks-Bulls Hawks' Al Harrington to Bulls for Ben Gordon and Eric Piatkowski. The Bulls have been all over the place with their usage of Gordon, who is clearly good enough to be a starter and should be developed as one. Atlanta has already learned that Joe Johnson, while talented enough to be built around, isn't a point guard. Even though Gordon is not the prototypical point either, he has the size and ball-handling skill of a point guard and can create the big shot when necessary. The Bulls, meanwhile, get a consistent, physical forward in Harrington, who is in the final year of his contract. If he stabilizes an ever-changing Bulls frontcourt, Chicago can look to re-sign Harrington. If he just becomes one of the interchangeable parts, then the Bulls can allow him to sign elsewhere and be even further under the salary cap next offseason and have their pick of the prime free agents. Knicks-Bobcats Knicks' Jamal Crawford and David Lee to Bobcats for Brevin Knight and Melvin Ely. With Rose now in the fold in New York, there is even less need for a gunning shooting guard like Crawford. And Knight is just the type of point guard Larry Brown can work with, which would also allow Stephon Marbury to move to shooting guard. Ely is also a big, steady power forward who can score in the post when needed. The Bobcats, meanwhile, get a player in Crawford who wants to shoot, which won't really get in the way of any current Bobcats, who don't mind playing off the ball. Plus, the Bobcats can afford to take on a big salary because they are so comfortably under the cap. And Lee gives them another young, versatile player. Cavs-Heat Cavaliers' Damon Jones to Heat for Michael Doleac and Jason Kapono. Call this the They Can Come Home Again trade. Both Doleac and Kapono have played for the Cavs, and Jones was a huge part of the Heat's success last season. The Heat obviously needs another point guard because of Jason Williams' injury concerns, and Jones wouldn't necessarily be relegated to third point guard status, either. Gary Payton can and has played the shooting guard position a lot, which would free up minutes at point for Jones. Pat Riley didn't want to pay a reserve point guard $3.6 million, but he might reconsider if it means having a security blanket like Jones. The Cavs need a big man (wasn't that Drew Gooden guarding Shaquille O'Neal on Thursday?), and they have already been floating Jones' name around in trades since Larry Hughes went down. If that doesn't work, the Heat could try to pry Kevin Ollie from Philadelphia for point guard help. Nuggets-Rockets Nuggets' Earl Watson to Rockets for Stromile Swift. The free agent busts swap places. Watson hasn't found a place in Denver because there never was any place for him to begin with. And the Nuggets need some assistance in the frontcourt with Nene out for the season, Marcus Camby always fragile and Kenyon Martin playing through a handful of injuries. The Rockets could use support at both guard positions, but more importantly they need to get someone of value in return for Swift, who has been a huge disappointment. Suns-Clippers Suns' Jim Jackson to Clippers for Chris Wilcox. It might not be wise of the Clippers to trade an athletic big man to a Suns team who is missing only an athletic big man (who knows if Amare Stoudemire will return healthy this season), but the team has been considering trading Wilcox for some time. And although players like Quinton Ross and James Singleton have filled in nicely this season, the Clippers can use a proven veteran like Jim Jackson come the postseason. The Suns haven't utilized Jackson much this season, and they could use some insurance in case Stoudemire doesn't return in proper playing condi Source: http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/sport...ll/13792754.htm
The only trade that seems legit is the Suns and Clippers, no way Stro will go for Watson. Stro gotta a lot of energy and has more value than Watson.
Brevin Knight would be an excellent pickup for the Knicks, but I don't think they're willing to package David Lee in the deal for Knight. The other trades seem interesting, but I don't think they'll go down.
The Ben Gordon one seems far fetched. Ben Gordon has already earned a starting role in the Bulls organization, and along with Kirk Hinrich have been is nearly untouchable. Not only that, but Al Harington has stated he would not mind being a Bull, and that the Bulls need a player like him. With his contract up at the end of the season, those comments being said, and the Bulls being 15 million dollars under the cap. Why give up a valuable rising star in Ben Gordon for a player you can get in free agency?
haha. im mulling the heat and cavs trade, it would be weird to see damon back in miami after just leaving in free agency.

Payton and Williams both want to play the whole game so they don't need any more help there at all. Damon Jones would wind up playing garbage minutes. And as far as Payton playing some shooting guard, there is this WADE guy there right now playing 39 minutes a game and fifth in the league in scoring.............so Shandon Anderson and Posey can back him up. This " ISRAEL GUTIERREZ" reporter dude came up with some pretty retarded trade posibilities.

J Will is injured half the time.. dont talk about stuff you dont know
WILCOX/JACKSON: the clips would be out of their mind to trade chris wilcox for jim jackson in my opinion, what are you talking about all they got are vets on that roster - isn't c.mobley basically the same type of player as jimmy jackson and the same age?
Ey dont even much say ne thing to me about these trades.. I didnt make this up.. These are rumors.. None of them prolly wont even much happen. Dont blame me of these trades if u think they are dumb.. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Umair15:</div><div class="quote_post">Hawks-Bulls Hawks' Al Harrington to Bulls for Ben Gordon and Eric Piatkowski.</div> Why would the Hawks trade for yet another 2 guard? Sure, Harrington is available, but it'd be plain stupid to deal for an SG when they've already got a few. A PG or nothing, and i mean a legit PG.

People forget how long Brevin has been around because he never really emerged until Charlotte. He'd do nothing for the Knicks. I don't really get the Bulls trade either, Gordon has proven too valuable to deal at this point. The should package Duhon with Deng instead. Getting rid of Deng will show Peja that they are serious about acquiring him in the offseason.

The Bulls have been shopping Gordon all season. You think a 6-3 shooting guard is too valuable? The reason the Bulls are getting murdered this season is their size. If Gordon could bring a big man into the Windy City, I'd deal him in a second. He is not a franchise player. He is the 2K version of Tony Delk, nothing more. Deng is more versatile and valuable, however, dealing Duhon is also a good idea. If anything, packaging Duhon and Gordon to a backcourt starved team with an extra big man to give up would be nice. And Chicago doesnt want Peja. Read between the lines into any report. You want rumors, here is what the Bulls have REALLY been gearing up to do............. GO AFTER KEVIN GARNETT! The Bulls can package Ben Gordon, Tim Thomas, and their first round draft pick from the Knicks trade (which is looking to be a Top 5 right now) for KG. Minnesota will get cap room because Thomas comes off the books this summer, they get a young stud in Gordon, and will have 2 lottery picks in '06. One, a top 5, which they could go after a big man like LaMarcus Aldridge. Go grab another big man late lottery, like say, Josh Boone or Hilton Armstrong. Or a wing, like Rodney Carney. Now Minnesota can also be a player in free agency, say, go after Peja for example and Minnesota puts out a roster like this..... PG-Marco Jaric/Marcus Banks SG-Ricky Davis/Ben Gordon SF-Peja/Trenton Hassell PF-LaMarcus Aldridge/Josh Boone C-Eddie Griffin/Mark Blount Now Chicago can use it's draft pick on a bigger 2 guard, an outside shooter to blend with KG.(JJ Redick should be there. Also Rudy Fernandez or Maurice Ager. Now the Bulls can toss out like this...... PG-Kirk Hinrich/Chris Duhon SG-JJ Redick/Janero Pargo SF-Luol Deng/Andres Nocioni PF-Kevin Garnett/Darius Songaila C-Tyson Chandler/Othella Harrington COME HOME KG!!!!!!!!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dtpxcore:</div><div class="quote_post">The only trade that seems legit is the Suns and Clippers, no way Stro will go for Watson. Stro gotta a lot of energy and has more value than Watson.</div> Watson can start for the Rockets,Swift can't. Swift has always had more energy than skill, making him a natural fill-in for Nene,a bigger ,wider,Stromille
Minny would seriously consider that Bulls proposal, but just as step 1,they'd like to move Hudson, would try getting Nocioni, and a # 1 in 07 or 08. Bulls might get a rd 2 or a couple. Bulls have to consider what other teams will put on the table. KG's contract does somewhat limit what anyone will pay to get him,but a team with some depth can be fairly generous,as those add ons don't impact Chi's starting 5 Gordon played some point at U Conn as I recall. He's a shooter, but savvy enough to adapt.
