PD's Words of Wisdom

<font color=""DarkRed"">Sixers: Reduce turnovers. Turnovers KILLED us in the game against the Rockets, lets not have this happen a 2nd time in a row. Also, play that oh so wonderful thing called defense. Defend the 'Cats well, and Philly will have this one. Last but not least, DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THEM, despite their lack of depth, you saw what Jumaine Jones did to L.A.

<font color=""Orange"">Bobcats: Have to play hard defense all game long, especially on Iverson and Webber. Try to establish a lead early on and take avantage of their 2nd half slumps.

Matchup to Look Out For

[IMG][IMG]
Allen Iverson vs Brevin Knight

One of the league's top scorers vs one of the league's top passers..should make for an interesting matchup. Brevin will probably stay on Iverson hard, but won't be too much of a match for the All Star.
Advantage: Allen Iverson

Final Thoughts
As long as Philly doesn't pull something like they did last night, and play hard enough, they got this one. I just hope they don't underestimate the 'Cats either. Sixers win 101-95.

Sorry if it seems kind of rushed.

No no it is greatly in depth, A key to the game, may be managing minutes, John Salmons logged 37 the other night against Houston. When's the last time Salmons played 37 productive minutes? On BOTH ends of the floor.

Don't sweat it PD. I got the Sixers by 6. No reason why we should lose this game especially with the way we been playing as of late.

Sixers by 7.

I just want less turnovers, better shooting, better passing/teamwork, and the same intensity we showed on the glass in the Houston game.

Nice preview,
This SHOULD be an easy game, but as Korver said we shouldn't look at the game if its easy or hard, we should just win it. I think Webbers in for a big night. Korver too. I think hes going to come out strong. Just a hunch.

Sixers by 10 and we will win the contest of the boards too. Philly will use this game to really prove themselves going into the all star break i think. Iverson will have 42 and 11 assists. Webber will have 24 and 10 boards and we will not turn the ball over more than 12 times. That is my prediction and god i hope i am right!!!

Hey Allen, everyone knows your a talented scorer, but damn, take some lessons from Brevin Knight and pass the ball.

You weren't watching the game....He was passing in the majority of the 1st half. Shots weren't going down, but AT least he was passing. Now, AI is continuing, his new-found, passing tradition, but the other players ignorancy, to put the ball in the hoop goes even higher. Yes this includes the always hated Sammy Dalembert. AI decides to take the shots, and we blow up even higher. Worse then this, MO continues, to use only 2-4 players from the bench. Give Louis Williams some minutes!

Everyone needs to stop the "AI is never to blame" stuff. He shot 9 of 28! You think we have any leaders on this team that will step up and tell him to stop shooting and try to be agressive on offense? No. AI sees this team around him and thinks he needs to carry them every night. He doesnt trust anyone else and doesnt stop shooting, despite being 9 of 28. The Bobcats are my other favorite team, they play team basketball, we don't. Korver and Salmons never play a good game together, its always one or the other. AI needs to get in everyone's face and tell them he trusts them and start shooting.

Pull AI when he plays that bad, hes liable defensivly and , yes im saying this, hurts us when hes out there playing and shooting like that.

Some people here are overreacting with Allen... jeez, he's in a funk right now. He hasn't been shooting too well since he returned from the injury. Give him some time.

However, with his dreadful shooting tonight, he did look to pass in the second half... but the rest of the team couldn't hit anything either! What do you want him to do at that point? Being the superstar on the team he HAS to take it upon himself to try and get something done.

It wasn't just AI tonight, nor anybody else... this was a TEAM loss.

Give Louis some minutes? Please... if KO can't get many minutes why should Louis? You're acting like he is the next MJ.

Very dissapointing, I thought this would be a sure win. I don't know what the heck happened to the lead the sixers had at halftime...

Haha I was right about Korver. AI needs to be moved to the 2 guard slot In my opinion. I think we should tweak the startline line-up once again.

C- Samuel Dalembert
PF- Chris Webber
SF- Andre Igoudala
SG- Allen Iverson
PG- Kevin Ollie

I like what Ollie does. He pressures the opposing teams point guard which is the most important defensive impact next to the big anchor in the middle that we have in Dalembert. Also with this line-up at least most of our line-up is good at defense.( Ollie, Iggy,Dalembert) It's times like this when I really miss Snow with his leadership and defense.
