To come from behind in Sacramento, after losing 9 of the last 11, and then get smashed by Brad Miller just kills.

I know the guy has range on his jumper, but for an NBA centre who attempts a trey once a week to hit 2 treys in the last minute of the game (to go with his two previous field goals down the stretch) is unbelievable.

At one point we were 4-5th in the ranking and now we're barely above .500

I don't know what we can do, but we've got to try something. Start Hakim, start Miller at the 1, even give Burks another go at the 1, just something.

I so want to sweep the Suns. Whilst capable, it will take a miracle for us to get over them tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

It's the Chucky Atkins curse, I have no idea why Fratello insists on starting him. He's a bonafide chucker, and is a terrible decision maker on the floor. Gasol's FG% has nose dived since Chucky has become a starter, because he's not getting the high % looks he was getting.

The best playmaker for the Grizzlies is Mike Miller. He can get away at being the starting PG, because Eddie Jones is good enough defensively to guard the opposing PG for the other team. He was effective doing it last year with the Heat, and it allowed Dwyane Wade & Damon Jones to hide on defense.

The Grizzlies were also playing a lot better with BJax as the starter. There's a reason why Chucky Atkins has been a journeyman in this league. He has no idea how to play team basketball and it's alll about his shot attempts. His entire career all he's cared about is getting off his 3point shot, he does nothing else for a team.

I despise Chucky Atkins but thought it a bit rough to solely blame him, especially since we lost 3 straight before he came.

True, although our absolute best form came when Mighty Mouse started, with Mike and B-Jax running the second unit.

Yet another last quarter fadeout [IMG]

Up by 8 going into the last and lose by 4, scoring only 12 in the last quarter (5 of those in the last minute).

Another two road games to go too.

    Ouch.

The Oklahoma City Hornets have passed us, and the Los Angeles Lakers are right on our heels. How pathetic is that?

I was out, so I missed the game, but from the numbers, it looks like Brand dominated Gasol in the paint. 44 points is actually a career high for Elton Brand. Where's the defense?

This game against the Lakers tomorrow is huge. If the Lakers win, we're tied for 8th in the West, just two games up on Utah.

The Hornets are good, but the Lakers being that close is pretty f'ing awful.

I won't comment too much as i've only seen the first half (waiting for the second half to download).

Sadly getting a Grizzlies game on TV here is as rare as a Chucky Atkins assist.
