I actually think there's a slight chance we can be undefeated in the month of February...we play the mavs and clippers and such, but I really think we can do it. we've still been playing better even if our recent strek is against losing teams, and if T-Mac can get out of his slump I think we can do it! Lets go Rockets!
I've been looking at the Rockets schedule and I don't see them playing the Mavs anytime soon. I don't see the Rockets going undefeated in february mainly because they play Phoenix twice this month. If I remember correctly, In the first matchup, Yao was held to his only game where he scored in single-digits. Ryan Bowen was playing, so they sandwhiched Yao to prevent him from getting the ball. Mcgrady's presence will increase our chances in these games, but I still see the Suns as our biggest obstacle this month.
We can probably go 1-1 in those two games with Phoenix, but I think it is possible we can win at a .800 clip this month. February is a great time to start a roll and if we really do go red-hot, the rest of the season will be a push for the playoffs. If we fail to elevate our status in the West after this month, no playoffs.
woops must've looked at a different month when I saw dallas...oh well so much for my undefeated february...We need our stars to step up now...I don't know if T-Mac isn't feeling right or something but it sucks how big of a slump he's in right now. He mos def needs to get out of that if we have any chance
McGrady has seemed sluggish and tentative for the past several games. Every game he gets wacked in the nose whenever he's near the basket, and that might be a factor in why he's taking so many long jumpers. And his back problems have definitely slowed down his ability to drive past defenders or go around double teams. Last year, he was very effectiving running pick and roll with Yao because of his ability to get into the lane off the screen. Now, that play isn't working as well because McGrady can't get to the basket, and additionally it puts an extra defender near him and he can't get a good open shot. If you notice, since Yao came back McGrady hasn't played very well. I don't think it's a coincidence.

And Egyptian jynxed the Rockets. lol It sucks that we met the Lakers after they lost four games straight and were about to be under the 500 mark. They came out determined to shut us down (show us that they are a playoff team and we are not) and take the win. Kobe was the most determined ofcourse. I still think that we won 4 in a row and should have taken the win from them, or at least went out with a fight. McGrady can't drive in...I guess he believes that this season isn't worthe his back getting injured again.
