The two teams originally announced the trade last Wednesday, Feb. 1 pending a physical</div> <div align="center">http://www.nba.com/sixers/news/hunter_060208.html</div> Has there been any reason yet why the trade hasn`t gone through?
Yeah, Hunter failed his physical. http://www.justbball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49824 Now if he is back with the 76ers I bet there will be bad blood between him and the team.
I don't necessarily think there will be bad blood, but it will definitely be awkward for a while. None of the players really had anything too bad to say about him, and I think he was pretty good friends with Sam. Now, I guess this means we are waiving Zendon.
So where do we stand on any potential trade? King was going to do something with those draft picks, I'm sure of it.

Oh well, I want to know if King will still be looking to trade him.
Something is wrong with his knees. He has an ACL problem in one of them, and another problem in the other (I don't know what). Basically the Sixers and Hornets team doctors were conversing over the past couple of days (as were the GMs) about the problem, etc., and nothing came about.
This has to be awkward. To go back to a team that thought you were worth less than two second round draft picks would be embarrasing. I would be pretty mad if I were Hunter and I wouldn't be suprised if he demands a trade once he gets healthy enough to pass a physical.
^ Nah. He's not that type of guy and he did some good things at times. It's not like he is a player that will get gurantee playing time no matter where he goes, so I doubt he will demand to leave.

If Hunter doesn't demand anything then he will earn some of my respect. I know I wouldn't be too happy if I were in his situation.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rocket:</div><div class="quote_post">Good...it was a stupid trade by the Sixers in the first place...apparently God is a Sixers fan...</div> Unless the trade was a precursor to a bigger move... which seems doubtful. As for Hunter, you never know... I've heard he has a bad attitude and an inflated ego. Hopefully it all works out for the better.
thank god! like rocket said, i thought this was a very stupid trade, shipping out our backup center for almost nothing. but then again, if there was a bigger trade involved, i may have changed my mind
I'm sure Hunter is professional enough to deal with any bad blood there might be, but it will take time for him to be totally comfortable again in Philly one would imagine.
If I were Hunter I would be embarrassed to come back. I would probably be out there to prove something next time I step on the court.
