the next player from the AFC East to be out for the year because of a knee injury. http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/story/8895518 now Miami needs a good player to be out for the year, what about Zach Thomas?
Ya you had to see this one coming after the way his knee bent. He tore his ACL, MCL, and PCL....I guess rodney only knows how to follow through all the way...could be career threatening. I'm curious to see how we get through this one.
If it is the end of his career I hope he gets into the HOF. I imagine it won't be easy seeing as how he was the most fined player in the NFL.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BearsFan1)</div><div class='quotemain'>Get through same way you got through losing ty law, and about a billion other players</div> I hear ya which is why I'm not panicing...plus Gus Scott played well in his absense on short notice so he can only improve with more work with the first team...should be interesting if we get through losing Light and Harrison. I must say the Rookie Kaczur played very well considering he was playing on Brady's blind side against one of the better teams at confusing lineman with creative blitzing..If we pull another O-lineman out of our ass I think they should start building a statue outside of Gillete for Pioli now.

I guess Boston's injury last yr and Seau possibly having a tweaked achilles (suffered against carolina) doesn't count. Zach always get dinged up. Its just a shame Penny is gone for the season and the 3rd stringer starts against the Ravens who have have 2 weeks off. It would suck to be Brooks Bollinger as Ray Lewis is probably madder than Hades.
Yikes I figured this would happen when I saw him carted from the game on Sunday. He's a big lost for them on the field and he's there leader on defense as well. Media keeps saying it's the Patriots and they find a solid replacement but I beg to differ. Rodney Harrison is a Hall of Famer in my mind and your not gonna find a saftey near as good as him. You might be able to patch things up but not heal completely. Pats got some terrible luck this season.
Samuels & Wilson are very underrated DBs. Of course the loss of Harrison is HUGE, but if the front 7 can be consistent at stopping the run we shouldn't miss a beat. That's a BIG IF. No better challenge to that IF than this next game against LT2.
The patriots are gonna be tested lots in the air the rest of the year. Harrison is one of the best safetys, and with Poole and others DBs nursing injuries. Belichek needs to pull another DB that we never heard of out of his bag of tricks

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (panthersare#1)</div><div class='quotemain'>seymour is your only remaining all-star left, if he went down you guys would be in tons of trouble</div> Right because as we all know it's how many all-stars you have that makes you a champion. Most of you probably wouldn't even know Seymour if he hadn't been to 3 of the last 4 SBs.

Oh ya win 3 of 4 superbowls..Please I'd take Wilson,Vrabel,McGinest,Colvin,Warren,Wilfork,Green, and Samuel over alot of "Pro Bowlers" because they work together and buy into the system which is what you really need...not a bunch of probowlers...
I see 5 all stars on the pats last year. Brady, Dillion, Seymour, Law, and Harrison. If you added those players to any team they could go to the SB
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (bakes781)</div><div class='quotemain'><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (panthersare#1)</div><div class='quotemain'>seymour is your only remaining all-star left, if he went down you guys would be in tons of trouble</div> Right because as we all know it's how many all-stars you have that makes you a champion. Don't get me wrong I think we have alot of guys that could be probowlers but they don't get the respect from there peers therefor they are not all-stars...but Eugene Wilson and Mike Vrabel are two that come to mind on Defense and Dan Koppen is another on offense. The thing is none of these guys see themselves as "all-stars" or the best at their postion they just worry about winning and not about looking good...thats why we have sent teams with more "all-stars" home in the playoffs. Also I disagree that if you added them to any team they would be automatic contenders because every guy from Brady to Randal Gay is a big part of our success though if there would be one person that would be irreplacable it would probably be brady.

Try Patrick Pass or Asante(sorry for spelling) Samuel or Randall Gay.
