This time not as a replacement for Shaq. I really had 0 doubt he was going to make it, so this is no surprise, but he's deserve if for a while, the management just needed to give him a chance to win. Any thoughts?
Good for him. If Maggette could have kept himself healthy, I think Brand would be a leading MVP candidate right now.
And today he's shown me he's a legit superstar now. I always respected his ability but thought he was a tier below the elite, but his effort tonight has been amazing. Admittedly my lot are playing like rubbish but to drop 40+ on us is a fair effort.
Well, like you said, he just added a 44 point game to the mix, matching his career high. Brand's jumpshot has just become amazing, he's hit so many big shots this year it's not even funny, and he just took over in this game, wow.
If anyone deserves to be an allstar, it's Elton Brand...I'm very happy for him, he's had to put up with a lot to get here...
He has always been an All-Star in my mind, just been on terrible teams. I was very pi$$ed that the Bulls traded him away, he is just damn good at what he does.

Most continued to maintain (at least up until this year) that they won the trade and that Brand isn't a star.

Even now Chandler is good at rebounding (after inconsistency) but he cant score like Brand and won't dominate like Brand does.
