<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">FloridaToday.com - Steve Francis admitted before Friday's game that the swirling trade rumors involving him possibly being dealt to Denver or New York are affecting him. It showed once again as he scored just nine points on 4-of-12 shooting. He had a 10-game stretch following his Jan. 12 suspension when he averaged 19.1 points, 7.2 assists and 6.2 rebounds. But since the trade rumors gained more strength, Francis has averaged just 7.6 points, four rebounds and five assists the past three games -- all losses. For the first time all season, Francis did not stick around after the game to answer questions from the media. "I have no explanation," Hill said of Francis' woes. "I can't tell you what's bothering him."</div> http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives..._affecting_him/
You can tell that the rumors are getting to him he was playing great until the denver rumor came out now he is stuggling I hope the rumor's go away and he can get back to playing great basketball. (and Orlando can get back to winning)
I think Francis is as good as gone. The Magic don't need him. He's only robbing minutes from Jameer Nelson and has a pretty hefty contract for the next couple of years. A nice expiring contract will be perfect for the Magic.
<u>IF</u> Francis is traded I think we should get a pg in return I would rather have a bigger vet backing up Jameer I think Francis has more value than an expiring contract
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dtpxcore:</div><div class="quote_post">I say you guys get a big guy for Francis, he should've sayed in Houston where he had it made.</div> Do you think Francis demanded a trade after he signed a long extension? He had no choice to stay in Houston. I would like to trade Francis for 2 young role players(like Flip Murray and Reggie Evans).
