Zydrunas Ilgauskas, drafted one year previously, is still putting up solid numbers and barely missed out on visiting Houston. Ilgauskas has size and skill on his side, so should take all the marbles here. Troy Murphy v Drew Gooden – Troy Murphy has the ability to put up solid numbers, and has been this season with 16-9. Drew Gooden’s numbers are slightly down on last season, and he has been linked with a trade which would reunite him with former teammate Kirk Hinrich in Chicago. Nevertheless, Gooden’s focus should remain firmly on the game, though I expect Murphy to have a better game. Mickael Pietrus v LeBron James – Two players drafted in the same year, but are in a totally different class. That is not to say that former 11th overall selection Pietrus is playing badly, but that LeBron James is playing phenomenally well. LeBron will look to display the skills that have him in the All-Star game for the second straight year, as well as a first time appearance in All-Star Saturday – in the Playstation Skills Challenge. I definitely expect the man from Akron to come out on top here. Jason Richardson v Aleksandar Pavlovic – Pavlovic will still be filling in for the injured Larry Hughes, and has been doing very well, showing his ability to shoot from mid and long distance. That being said, however, Jason Richardson’s explosiveness and tenacity all over the court should speed him towards prevailing over Pavlovic. Baron Davis v Eric Snow – One of the most skilled Point Guards in the League comes up against the true definition of a PG; Eric Snow. Baron Davis may be able to overwhelm Snow with skills, but Snow has the cutting edge on defence and, if he can lock down early on, he may be able to contain B-Diddy.
OTHER NOTES

[*]The Cavs are 2-3 against the Warriors since LeBron James entered the League.
