We are sitting at 9th place in the East. We are 3 games behind Philly for 8th spot and one and a half in front of Orlando at 10.

    5. Indiana - 25-22
    6. Milwaukee - 26-23
    7. Washington - 25-23 (.5 game behind Mil and Ind)
    8. Philadelphia - 24-25 (1.5 game behind Was)
    9. Chicago - 21-28 (3 games behind Phi)
    10. Orlando - 19-29 (1.5 games Chi)

So the question is, can we catch up to Ind/Mil/Washington?

It's going to be tough, I'm surprised, I thought after last year we would make the playoffs every season at least for sometime. Bulls should have won that Jazz game, the route in Sac was pretty embarrasing. What can you do? Just hope the bulls can make a final push..I hope Washington drops out(or Milw drops-less likely, I like Philly, rooting for the Sixers or Dallas to win it all..).

I can see the Bulls going up the rankings, but I don't think they'll catch-up to Indiana or Milwaukee. They'll probably end up fighting for the 8th spot. Indiana is still playing well without Jermaine O'Neal and Milwaukee will only keep moving up. The only team I could see losing momentum is Washington.

lol if we finish 8th spot we make as well not make it. Will be a straight sweep from Detroit (who lost to Miami today, the record is safe).

    3 games behind Milwaukee.

I would love nothing more then to knock the Bucks out of the playoffs.

Yes, I think this young talented team which should keep a nucleus of 7-8 players at least should make the playoffs. Their defense has to slow down interior passing and they must keep passing and finding the open shooter they want taking the shot: Gordon, Hinrich, Deng, Nocioni or Songaila when they are in. Duhon can be a star and a top ten point guard in this League and he's a pretty good shooter too.

I’m going to go ahead and predict yes we will make the playoffs, but I can’t be as confident about what will happen once we do make it. We are currently three games behind the Bucks who are in a free fall. The Bucks are 3-7 in their last ten contests, and have been going down hill since all star break. The Bulls meanwhile are not doing great, but are holding steady. They have 5-5 in their last ten contests, and have a relatively easy schedule left. They will probably compete in every game from here on out. The only games that seem out of reach our two games against the Heat and one against the Pistons.

No disrespect, but it's disgraceful that a team at 21-29 is still seriously considering playoffs.

Can we please swap conferences and divisions?

I was just going by the first post and i don't really take much interest in the Bulls.

    My apologies.

    Point remains though.
