    Here are the matchups

Panthers WRs vs Packers Secondary: Whoever has to cover Steve Smith is gonna have one long day. Ricky Proehl always seems to make a huge catch. Rod Gardner and Keary Colbert are still looking to get on track.

Packers WRs vs Panthers Secondary. With Ken Lucas returning he is a good tackler and wont allow many big plays. With Javon Walker out, i dont see many big plays. Chris Gamble and Ricky Manning will cover the packers #2 and #3. Gamble can intercept a lot of balls and with the way favre slings the ball around, Lucas and Gamble might get some INTS

Panthers O-line vs Packers D line: The only guy im worried about is KGB. I think he might have a sack, Wharton is the weakest, but as long as you dont throw a speed guy at him he is alright. He held Seymour in check good in week 2, but struggled against Jason Taylor.

Packers O line vs Panthers D line: The weakest spot on the packers line is the middle but with Jenkins out, Buckner and Carstens are gonna need to get a good push. Julius Peppers is looking for a breakout game, so watch out for him.

Smart pick would be to chose the Panthers, so they got my vote. I would rather see the Packers win this one though, they desperately need a win.

panthers wont take the packers lightly. This game will define the rest of the season. If Carolina gets on track, they will be hard to beat. The only person on track right now is Steve Smith

This one ain't gonna be a blow out, I can see it going either way but im biased and ... im gonna pick the Packers! Ken Lucas is still gonna be kind of nursing his injury so I say the Pack tries to exploit that match u, Ferguson really stepped up his game and has shown he can be a starting reciever and with Chatman showing he can make an impact the Panthers secondary is gonna have a tougher time than expected.

Not even Brett Favre can stop a defeat this week. Panthers win big, 34-14.

I kinda feel bad for the Packers starting off 0-3 but you're right Panthers will probably win big. Favre will throw 2-3 INTs to help them win big.

This is the NFL. Every week, men, made of flesh and blood, put on pads and helmets and go out and try to whup the man in front of them. Talent is a factor, but talent alone won't win football games. Brett Favre hasn't become one of the greatest QBs in NFL history on talent alone. He's smart, tough and a winner. I wouldn't bet against him to find a way to modify his game to better suit the decline in talent on his team. I'm not saying the Packers are going to the playoffs, but I am saying that in the NFL you better not count any team as extra bye week. Are the Panthers really more talented than the Packers? It appears so on paper, but you tell me. Yes, the Panthers beat the reigning Super Bowl Champs a couple of weeks ago. (So did the 4-12 Dolphins last year, but that didn't make the Dolphins good or the Patriots bad.) However, the Panthers have lost two games they should have won against the Saints and Dolphins. I don't care about lame excuses. Great teams beat the teams that they are supposed to beat and the Panthers haven't done that. Right now, the Panthers look overrated and the Packers are wounded. I wouldn't bet money on either team. I certainly don't see this game as a lock.

I feel the Packers are going to win this one. It is a biased opinion but the Packers played very well agaisnt a good Bucs team. Its Monday night and anything can happen, but I feel the Packers will find a way to win there first game.

I said Panthers but this will not be a blow out. Packers are ONE BREAK in each game away from being 2-1. Things just aren't rolling there way right now. Carolina is an overrated team! But I stand by my pick for them to go all the way. To me Favre and Green just seem to be ready to breakout. Whether it's now or later it just seems like Green is going to run for 150 soon enough. Also Stephen Davis is the least of my concerns. The Packers defense ranks 16TH in the NFL. Defense is the least of my concerns. It's Al Harris vs Steve Smtih. Smith will be good for a couple big plays a game which scares me. Harris can't cover him in my opinion and Harris is and always was a little overrated. If Delhomme steps his game up, then Carolina wins. If not then the Pack have a very good chance to take this. Either way it'll be a tight game for majority of the first 3 quarters. It's which defense will cause a big turnover in the 4th is what I think it's gonna come down to.

i think its gonna come down to a 7 point game. I dont think it will be a blow out, i just really want the panthers to win even if its a 1 point victory. If the panthers lose this week, they are gonna have a really up hill battle to get to the playoffs.
