Malik Rose is a similar-type player, but the Knicks, according to league sources, are willing to trade Rose and perhaps Trevor Ariza to the Sonics if they can get Fortson and Evans in return. Seattle is also said to have interest in Malik Rose. The Knicks, still seeking another point guard and a rugged power forward, may inquire about Minnesota's Marko Jaric and have already asked about Seattle's Reggie Evans. They can have him if they want.
I thought it wasn't what Isiah wanted anymore? Didn't he have Larry Brown make a list of players he desired? I cannot fathome Larry Brown wanting Reggie Evans. He's never liked undersized PFs and despite Evans rebounding, he's not very good on defense.
