I also want Shelden Williams in a Sixer uni, he'd be great for us IMO.

What number do you think our first round pick will be?? I guess I mean do you think we will make playoffs or get a top 15 pick?? Then i can tell you who we will draft!

well, i want to be optimistic, but if this team continues to play the way they are playing, and if they dont turn it around soon, its lottery time

Ok well I'm a hugeee Uconn fan, so Im biased here, but I would love Josh Boone in the first. Hes a big body, plays good D, blocks a lot of shots, and rebounds well. Hes strong and gets alot of put backs and little jump hooks. In the 2nd, I would LOVE to see Marcus Williams there if he declares, or Allan Ray from Nova.

Good game last night eh? [IMG]
    haha jk man

Allan Ray from Noba would be loved here. Definetly would be a fan favorite even though he is a little undersized. I like the Josh Boone pick though. I think our first priority is a big body who plays D and he does fit the description.

Yes Allan Ray would be loved here, but the fans would riot if Billy King used a top 15 pick on Mr. Ray. I honestly feel we should put stock into drafting a point guard and moving Iverson to the 2 guard. The less he has the ball in his hands this late in his career is in the best interest of Iverson and the team. A couple guys who really jump out at me are Mardy Collins, 6'6" PG/SG out of Temple, Daniel Gibson, 6'2" PG out of Texas, and Rajon Rondo, 6'2" PG out of Kentucky.

Mardy Collins the Philadelphia product born and raised can actually play the point guard spot, and at 6'6" has great size to play the position. He may also play a little of the 2 guard until Allen decides to call it quits and then take over at the point, not an option I would support but still and option.

Daniel Gibson would be the likely pick if Billy King feels that he needs another scorer on the court. Gibson has great court vision and can really stroke the ball from deep.

Rajon Rondo would be my favorite canidate for our draft pick. A hawk on the defensive end who can really improve our defensive play and he'll also hit the glass as a guard.

As you can tell I honestly don't think Louis Williams is the future at point guard. In the second round I'm feeling Steven Smith, a local kid out of LaSalle who has just been crazy this season for the Explorers.

I meant Ray in the 2nd, he is kind of undersized so his stock drops, esp with 3 other good guards on the team. Lowry and Foye are the real stars, but Ray is underrated. I would love Boone in the 1st and Ray in the 2nd.

Yes we have a 2nd round pick, and if somehow we were to have a better record than the Nets we could swap picks with them. We had another 2nd round pick but the Hunter deal fell through, so nbadraft.net isn't updated yet.

never heard of him. but if we could somehow get mardy collins in the first to play guard, and steve smith in the 2nd to play small forward, im thinking that we have a pretty good draft fan based, since both are from PA.

He's young and 7'0'' or 7'1'',can play several positions (including PG,but dunno about that in NBA) He was rumored to go in the top 10 or atleast first round few years ago but chose to play for few more years in Canada I belive.

anyone here hoping we can snag hassan adams in the second? if steve smith is gone, and he's still there, i think we should go after him. he's better than steve IMO, but he is undersized and doesnt really have a position

Naw, no way Hassan Adams doesnt go in the first round. He goes 15-20 range I think when all is said and done. How does this sound, looking down the road...(Wont try to be too pro UConn or Big East lol, but lets get players with talent and from big time programs who know the game)

2006 1st round: PF Josh Boone
2006 2nd round: SF Steve Smith

2007 1st round: PG Darius Washington
2007 2nd round: SG Quincy Douby

    Future Line Up:
    PG: Louis Williams, Darius Washington
SG: Andre Iguodula, Willie Green, Quincy Douby
SF: Kyle Korver, Steve Smith, FA signing
    PF: Josh Boone, Shavlik Randolph
C: Samuel Dalembert, Steven Hunter(?) or FA signing

This is just for fun, and who knows who declares, who shoots up draft boards, and where we pick, but this team looks good in the future, with us getting our cap room back for another great player to team up with AI2. We could sign a good backup C, and a star SF with our cap room back.

well, sorry to burst your bubble, but the sixers dont have a first rounder next year. they traded it away in the glenn robinson trade. (still remember him?) also, for some reason i dont like josh boone very much. i cant put a finger on as to why. i just have a feeling that he will be a bust for some reason.............obviously i could be wrong

What happened to Iverson? lol, but anyway that lineup wouldn't be bad, but I'd have Willie Green backup the PG spot and and sign a swingman, and maybe get a good backup C like you said.

They should trade AI to build up the franchise with young players if they want to build around Andre.
