Ok yea I see it at 10:30 (Central, Houstonian time). I hope I can record it or something, because I want to watch this movie, or at least fast forward through it.

The Rookie Challenge (Rooks v. Sophmo game) comes on Friday as well??? I thought that it was on saturday...DAMN I guess I will have to miss Luther Head.

I'm watching it right now. It is a very well made, and it does ive a great sense of what it was like for Yao in his first year. From watching the documentay, you can tell that not only has Yao gotten bigger, but Peyton Manning has also. In the commercial he did with Yao, he is a lot skinnier. In the Pro Bowl skills challenge, it looked like he had a belly. It seems to be more fat than muscle that he has gained over the years. This may be out of place on a Rockets board, but whatever.

I just finished watching it and the movie was really good. I really never realized how hard the transition was and how he had all the hype to deal with. Some of my opinions have really changed about him.

That was a pretty good movie, but is Colin Pine still translating for Yao?

no, he works for the NBA in China...

but the movie was very good and gives an indication of how much pressure Yao has on him and how much he has had to overcome...I think they should make all media types watch the film because their ignorance regarding him has been shameful...

One weird thing about the movie. It made it seem like the last game on the schedule, the deciding game, was against the Lakers that year. There were actually 11 more games after that. Rockets didn't miss the playoffs because of the Lakers game.

i just got home and i just saw watched it. (i recorded it) i must say, me being chinese, i have huge respect for yao and his game. and i have huge respect for the organization for picking him. the movie really showed me a part of yao i never knew existed. ive always known that he had a great sense of humor, but actually going in depth in his life and seeing what he does daily really touched me. it showed me what he is as a person, and ive grown to respect him even more. he was the sole reason why i cheered for the rockets, but after seeing the film, my like for the team has grown even more. i give big props to yao, and im very jeolous of that translator guy that follows him around all the time. lol.

i loved near the end when yao's like, you ate more pizza then me.
