How could a player termed "pg/sg" be so horrible at running a fast break? Every time Fisher gets the ball on a fast break, he goes right into the heart of the defense, ignores the spacing of his wings and trailers, refuses to pass, tries to draw contact, and shoots off-balance fade-away layups. It's like he never played highschool ball. Seriously, they may not be nearly as athletic as Derek Fisher, but our local highschool girl's team run the fast break better than D-Fish ever will. I'm baffled. [IMG]

Wow -- Fisher almost got Zarko seriously injured with that bone-head alleyoop. WTF?

Fisher passed the ball. I was amazed. I'll take it.

Yeah that's true. I guess he's due for one pass every 3 or 4.... home stands.

Fish almost broke his own ankle and turned it over on his clear-path-to-the-basket fast break lay-up.

Yeah, it's too bad Pietrus threw the game. Fisher had a great stat line going at least, despite the fact he played kind of ugly. The stats don't show this of course. (8 of 14 shooting, no three attempts [this is great since missed threes lead to the Warriors getting burnt in transition and plus too many attempts lead to others settling for too many of them!], 5 of 6 from the line, 21 points, 9 assists, two steals). We lost some great fastbreak opportunities because our 2nd string point guard doesn't know how to run it... We need Baron back in order to run the break successfully, but only if he doesn't hold the ball too long, overdribble, and chuck those 30% shots. We need a pure point in the worst way. Too many scoring guards with bad decision making.

Warriors just have so many flaws, it's frustrating. There's nobody on the Warriors that's dependable like a KG or Tim Duncan or Lebron or Steve Nash that knows basketball.

I wish they double teamed Gasol and make him give it up to another player.

Kind of ragged but some first class D and a lot of effort. Memphis crowded the middle, making it hard for J Rich or Pietrus to drive the lane. We needed a bit more luck than we had.

Fisher is a really bad tweener...he cant run an offense, cant make sharp decisions but you cant put him at the 2 because he's undersized and is very streaky with his shooting...

It's hard to complain about Fisher when he has come up big numerous times for the W's. He probably makes me hold my breath more than any other Warriors (no, I don't mean it that way...). [IMG]

Fisher's best play on the fastbreak is spotting up for a 3-point shot.

when he was with la he was great on the fastbreak. Open for all those shots and setting up Kobe with an alley-oop.

I don't remember it like that. LOL.

I remember cringing everytime Fisher made a move to the basket because he is a terrible finisher and fires an 80MPH pass to a guy 2 feet away from him. Plus he was always getting stripped in the air and the ball would go off his knee and out of bounds.

Did you guys not see Chucky Atkins?

The guy has got one of the quickest and most athletic bigmen in the league to give the ball too and he still cannot run a fast break to save his life.

    Allergic to passing, i swear.
