That 3rd Quarter

Was about as ugly a quarter as you'll find this side of Portland.

11 points only, give up 25, and turn a 7 point halftime lead into a 7 point deficit.

We've got one guy who's scored over 8 points, whilst the four starters not named Gasol have scored 16 points combined on 7-22 shooting.

We're close enough and have the talent to win well, but we'd need to improve vastly on that 3rd quarter.

 

And now we come out and drop 7 on them unanswered in a couple of minutes to tie it away.

So very frustrating.

Scarily enough, and despite shooting close to 30% in the second half, we're only 3 down.

Derek Fisher has a chance to hit another gamewinner.

 

And sure enough, Fisher comes through.

We've got 3 seconds to win this game or it's that dreaded OT.

Full credit to the boys for fighting through probably our worst performance of the year to get a tough W on the road.

And, Pau came up big, really big. Hopefully that'll get the monkey off his back now he's been big down the stretch two games in a row.

Sadly though, it again showed me we're still in our funk and will really need to get out of it soon.
Not often you get to play a team so undermanned and playing so badly.
