Yeah i have been rooting for the Pistons for the last few years, and once i started they won the championship. So, i want your guys opinions on the Pistons. If you think their going to win the Championship again or not? Give me your thoughts.
Far too early to tell. The Championship IMO is very hard to predict this year. Last year the Spurs were the sexy pick, but this year eh, I guess Detroit is the favorites, but I see the Spurs or Dallas or even the Heat as possible NBA Champions also.
At this point, it looks to be between the Spurs, Mavs, Pistons, and maybe the Suns when they get Amare back. Its much too early to predict though, who knows what injuries, streaks, or issues arise before then.
The 2006 NBA Champions will be.......... Miami Heat or Detroit Pistons or San Antonio Spurs or Dallas Mavericks or Phoenix Suns. It will be one of these teams for sure. If you want an outside chance look at Cleveland, Indiana even the Clippers. Damn, it really is too early to tell. I will holla back after the trade deadline...... see what goes down.

FYI the current vegas odds are: Pistons 1-1 Spurs 3-1 Heat 4-1 Suns 5-1 Mavs 7-1 The next best odds are the Cavs, Nets, Clipps, and Pacers at 50-1.
Spurs, Mavs, Pistons, Suns with Amare, and the Heat look like they`re starting to rejuvinate themselves. But will the Pistons win it all? I`ll come back to the answer later in the year.

They could win it, but I hope they don't. Ever since "The Brawl" last season, I've kind of soured on that team. Can't quite explain why. Part of it might be bitterness for their ridiculous streak of good health this season. They've had the same starting lineup for EVERY game this year. They might be closing in on some sort of record.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting CHAMP:</div><div class="quote_post">Detroit's bench is not as deep as Miami's.</div> True.. but their starting lineup is far more formidable w' much greater chemistry.. But who knows right? That's why games aren't played on paper..

thanks for all your answers, and whoever posted that me being a piston fan for only a short time is dumb, it really doesnt matter how long you have been a fan of a team, and i thank the people who backed me up on that.
