Depending on who declares, this year's draft class isn't top heavy in talent. Joe D has made so many positive moves for Detroit, you have to trust his vision. Apart from Oden the 07 draft is rather weak, Orlando would have to suck even harder next year and I don't see them being a bad team. At least this year you know they are heading for a rather bad record. This could certainly backfire badly If Orlando becomes good next year. I like Cato though, he would help guard Shaq and another guy to guard Duncan.
I didnt think the pistons would trade Darko. I didnt think they wanted to show that they made a mistake pickin him so soon.

it's a great move.. if you're down in the dumps like the magic (i'm exaggerating), you've gotta take your chances.. if the tandem of dwight&darko works out, you're set for the next 10 years.. and to get arroyo in the trade as well ain't bad at all.. he'll be at least a decent backup to jameer.. i'm assumin' the next move would to be to find a new home for the franchise..
What's a 'Magic'? Good luck to him. I think he's a bust, but at least in Orlando he'll get a chance to play. And Arroyo will be handy as well, especially as it'll allow you to trade Francis if you wish.
good trade for the magic, gives them more size, since cato hasnt been playing. now its wait and see with francis. at this point we need another star quality player in return, we cant take on 2 or 3 ok players. Steve is a great player overall but is not havin a good season, if he can turn it around, this would be a good team down the road.
Good steal for the magic. Howard is a superstar in the making and Darko can be too. He has a whole crap load of potential and Jameer and Francis in the backcourt. That's a solid roster in a couple of years.

I live in Michigan and watch all the Pistons games. Darko is well, Darko he sucks and he's a pouter. He thinks he's owed everything but doesn't want to work for it. Arroyo is another story. His name up here was Arroyoblows. He can only do one thing and that's dribble. His passing is overrated and he has a horrible shot and he plays 0 Defense. Even though he sucked at least he was a good guy that tried hard. I hope Darko becomes the player we all here thought he'd be. I really do. Maybe if he gets consistent P.T. he can be a serviceable big man, but even that's a reach.
