Had a long day at work, so I wasn't able to make a preview.

However, 2:15 remaining in the 2nd and the Raps are up 46-40. Another winnable game.

ah .. you beat me to it. Here's what i saw in the 1st half:

-Chris Bosh going 5/5 then getting no ball from the rest of the team.
-Sam Mitchell complaining about the offense when he put bonner, sow, eric williams, and joey graham on at the same time.
-Another strong performance from Mo Pete.

We're letting the Knicks stay in this game … kinda sad. They're not playing well at all and we haven't taken advantage in the slightest – if they were playing even half decent right now we'd be down by 10. Way too many 3 point shots coming from the outside. Mitchell's rotations are "super" as usual.

oh ya and we have about 5 + unforced turnovers ... not taking care of the ball so well - everyone looks a little slow to react today.

k...im at work, so im not watching the game live...but im following the game on the espn.com live game tracker...and james seems to be hoisting up a lot of deep 2pt jumpers and missing most of them. right now he's 4-11 and bosh is 7-11 and he's not giving chris the ball. christ almighty mike...give the ball to cb4 and let him go to work. he's had eveyrone who's checked him in foul trouble all night...quit shooting the ball from deep please.

What's up with Chuck's constant Knick-bashing? Its kinda annoying, considering we're basically doing everything he's criticizing them for. Will Mike James pass the ball?

Oh tell me about it... the irony is brutal - "Knicks aren't playing defense" and we are?
"KnIcks aren't giving curry the ball" where the hell was the ball for bosh 1/2 this game?
"Knicks offense looks stagnant" - and wasting half the shot clock on a weak 1/2 court press followed by a crappy 3 pointer is good offense by the raptors?

AND WHY THE HELL IS BOSH GUARDING JALEN ROSE ON THE PERIMITER!!!!!!!

i think what chuck is meaning by those comments is that the knicks are doing all these things wrong, and we arent capitalizing like we should be. we're guilty of some of the same things....but lately we've looked like a better team then the one thats out there tonight...we should be winning

james with a couple of nice layups...we needed those earlier mike

fair enough ... but i find the nature in which he's making the remarks is just putting down the other team, which i think is rather un-necessary.

Last play was horrible .. sam mitchell would have trouble coaching his way out of a paper bag it seems.

gee...what a surprise...espn's game update just said "mike james misses 25ft 3point jumper" i read that enough times tonight.

bosh needs to demand the ball. james really did hog the ball down the stretch.

props to charlie V for hitting that clutch 3 ball...too bad we couldnt get a stop on the other end. leaving the game in james hands for a jump shot after he bricked most of what he put up hurts a bit.

we really needed that win...now we got a bunch of tough road games ahead of us. would have like to head out west beating a team thats worse then us

I kind of agree with a13x, I think Chuck sometimes is way too "homerish", it's emberrassing at some point. I mean, the Knicks were up 9 and he was bad mouthing them non stop about their offensive decision, while we were chucking up long jumpers.

    Heart breaker.

ya i agree as well i see that we're down and i hear chuck saying how the knicks are playing poorly blah blah blah and im like "chuck were not doing any better and we're losing so shut up".

As for the game, this one really hurts out of any other game for me because the game was right their for us, but we didnt take advantage and we just settled for way too many 3's and long jump shots. And i think that mike james settled for way too many jumpers this game and should have drived more, cause he showed in the crucial moments that he can beat anyone off the dribble with ease.

Didnt really like that last play of the game either, i mean i was expecting mike to get the ball but Mo was wide open and i think he had a better shot at it.

Not having mo pete out for that part of the 4th really hurt us. I think we really missed our best opportunity to win this game in the first half - we were up by about 12 and we just didn't play tough defense. Going in even at the half was kind of a downer considering the Knicks didn't even wake up until 1/2 way through the 2nd.

I really wish we didn't throw bosh on the bench so soon in the 2nd when he was in a grove ... we should have let him ride it out then rest for a solid part of the 3rd. We were close to the point where we could have expanded our lead big time, then we didn't take care of the ball and we had some odd rotations going to say the least.

Yea, mike james, 2nd time he's done that where he becomes a ball hog and scores himself only. In the last 3 seconds Charlie Villanueva was soo open and he didnt even consider passing to anyone else

Selfish, even though he scores half the time.

Why didn't Mo Pete get the ball when he flashed open? Bosh overlooked him and instead passed to James who was so far out from the basket that the only thing he could do is to jack up that three-pointer.

Is it just me or is Mike James not so clutch?

Meh if it wasn't for him we probably wouldn't have been as close as we were. Mike James was taking the shots he normally does. People get mad when he takes the 3s and misses them, but they love him when he makes the bad shots. He was in a groove so I didn't mind him taking those shots. Plus Bosh was getting harassed by Malik, so Mike took it upon himself to create something.

omfg another winnable game but we came up short because of mike james. His poor poor defence on crawford, it's just horrible. Anyways, the two roses and Eddy Curry killed us.
