Mike James was running through the Knicks defense in the final minutes, why take the ball out of his hands? The last play was horribly drawn up though.

Man what a bunch of bandwagon fans! Everyone always hates on players in games we lose and love them when they win. If you are a 'true' fan you support your boys through thick and thin. All this season it's fire Mitchell, trade whoever etc etc. Now Mitchell is a genius since we've been playing 500 ball. Same with James everyone loves him when we win or he rocks it, did anyone actually watch the game? He was carving up the Knicks defence singlehandedly, layups everytime. The Raptors couldn't stop the Knicks on defence in the end and that is what lost us the game. We couldn't handle them down low. As for Crawford's ultimately winning shot, I thought James did an alright job of defending him and getting a hand in his face, just a good shot. I was confused that Bosh didn't inbound to Mo Pete cuz he looked like he had a good lane but maybe he thought the defence would rotate. Ya James jacked up a shot but he got us to that point to possibly win the game. He hits as many as he misses so quit your whining you fairweather fans.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting i-eat-nets:</div><div class="quote_post">omfg another winnable game but we came up short because of mike james. His poor poor defence on crawford, it's just horrible. Anyways, the two roses and Eddy Curry killed us.</div>

I don't think he played bad defense on Crawford. If you look at the replay he had a hand up in Crawford's face and that's why Jamal had to double-clutch while shooting. It's not really his fault - just a tough shot Crawford hit.

James is pretty selfish, Mo and Charlie were both open, he does it so often where he doesn't even pass in the final 3 minutes of the game, he always does this. Eventually Bosh will notice and everyone else will start to notice, then m/b they'll tell him and he won't do it so much.. i mean c'mon the guy can score, but just be a little less selfish. You don't see Bosh hogging up the ball when he can score most of the time.

I don't have a problem with him taking those threes and cutting to the basket. I just hate it when he takes a shot with nobody else on the team touching the ball, regardless of whether he makes the shot or not. Jalen used to do that, but he dribbled a lot slower than James. It shows a lack of trust in his teammates, IMO, because we know he's doing this to try to win.

Mike James had 9 assists. Oh ya, he didn't pass the ball at all in the final 3 minutes? Who got Villanueva the ball when he tied the game? Could you refresh my memory?

James was the single reason we were even in the game. If anyone was watching in the final 3 minutes, he sliced through the Knicks defense like nothing else.

Our interior defence was just atrocious, it seemed every time Curry touched the ball it was a uncontested layup/dunk.

James needed to take that shot, he wasn't really covered, it was a makable shot but it just didn't fall. He was pretty open and I'd rather have him take the shot over Bonner, Charlie or Mopete.
