Too early to tell, but he did pretty well for freelancing it without much knowledge of the offense or the defense.
Well to be fair, I wouldn't judge Chris' basketball IQ based on whether or not he can pick up the nuances of our defense.
I suppose by now Hill just yells "Stop your man! See that orange metal with the white net up there? Don't let the other guys put the big round ball in it, OK?"
If you can screen for Ray Allen and you can get offensive rebounds than as a front court player you've pretty much mastered our offense as well. Nothing that we do on either end requires much thought. That is one of the reasons why we we will get a top five pick in June.

Ray has 2 hand signals that our bigs need to recognize: one is where he waves towards himself which means 'set me a screen'. The other is where he waves away from himself which means 'get the hell out of my way'.
You forgot about the one where he covers his right ear which means "Don't listen to the Coach, I make WAY more money than him...run my play."
There's also the one where he covers his eyes, I think it's called "If I can't see my teammates, that means they don't exist!"
Completely agreed. He should go back to the straight rows and slap a headband on himself. Make him look fierce...
I didn't see the Atlanta game at all but on FSN they showed some highlights - one was an alley-oop slam and the other was a tomahawk dunk over somebody. Haven't seen that in a long while.
Yeah...I missed most of the first half...but I read (I think in the Times), that 7 of his 8 field goals were dunks. I know he had two Alley-oops from Luke and a few putbacks.
