<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Orlando Sentinel - The Orlando Magic don't expect injured PG Jameer Nelson to return for at least three weeks, according to Assistant General Manager Otis Smith. Smith said Wednesday the time frame for Nelson was a "best-case scenario."

Nelson has missed the past 14 games because of what the club has called a sprained right mid-foot. But Nelson said his understanding was that he had some cartilage damage.

Nelson is expected to receive a second opinion from Dr. Bob Anderson of Charlotte, N.C., during the all-star break. Nelson, a late first-round choice in the 2004 draft, was playing his best basketball when he sustained the injury. He had moved into the starting lineup at point guard and was averaging 17.7 points and 6.4 assists in nine starts.</div>

Thats going to hurt their backcourt. I think that might dry out the Steve Francis rumors unless they can get a good backcourt in return.

I think that was the main reason to get Arroyo. Just in case we trade Francis and Jameer doesn't heal quickly enough we got a PG who has proven that he could be a valuable role player.
