Guys, this thread is devoted to both Chris's and Charlie's perfromances, news, and pics as they represent the Raps this All Star weekend in Houston. Discuss the rookie/soph game and the All Star game here as far as it concerns the Raps. Predictions: CV's numbers in the rook/soph game: 21 Mins, 11 pts, 6 rbs, 3 dunks. CB4's numbers in the All Star Game: 9 Mins, 5 pts, 4 rbs, 1 dunk off of a LeBron ally oop.
Predict" CV's: 30 mins, 18 points, 6 rbs, 4 dunks, one off a paul alley oop. CB4: 10 mins, 10 points, 5 rbs, 2 dunks, one posterizing yao ming. Again these are predictions.
Villanueva will be good in the game tonight. He'll surprise a lot of people, especially the American audience who haven't seen him play much. Bosh will also play at least 15 minutes in the ASG IMO. With no O'Neal and not many valid big men off the East bench, Bosh should get his time.
I eat nets are you sure you're not psychic???!!! Charlie V. 18 points 11 rebounds in tonight's game... He showed the world that he really can play... right on baby.
Way to go Charlie V, coming off the bench and leading the rookies in scoring with 18. Definitly made us Raptor fans proud
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">CV's: 30 mins, 18 points</div> haha my 18 point "predict" was correct.
haha i know.. why was the raptor was so prominently displayed throughout the entire saturday night festivities =P...
CV's a real keeper.. Especially if he improves his physique & quickness and stays as a SF.. A 4/5 combo of him and CB4 ain't big enough but they're a challenge as a 3/4 combo.. If the draft was redone, I could definitely see him going 3rd behind Bogut and Paul..
Chris had 8 points, 8 rebs, and 2 dimes in about 16 mins of work. Not bad at all, a pretty nice debut for bosh. He also had nice one handed dunk.
The dunk was great, although in the first quarter I was pretty pissed at the East players not even looking at Bosh on offense, while he was the only one who was rebounding the ball. Oh well, he still got his share of points in the end.
^^ i was thinkin the same thing...everyone on the east was pretty much justl ookin to get their own...nobody passed bosh the ball once in the first...it kinda bugged me too. that one handed throw down (and1) was pure sickness though. i went nuts
The players didn't reward him for doing the dirty work, but Flip sure noticed. He got alot of minutes in the second half.
Great showing for Bosh in a fine debut. Loved the fact that his first career all-star action came through a substitution for Carter. Ironic, don't you think! Props to CV31 for holding it down on Saturday night too. Great to have the future of the Raptors putting on great displays in both games through the weekend. I can still see CB4's dunk when i close my eyes!
Yea, but i dont feel like Bosh is treated like hes part of the game. No one is really dishing for him, he just got a little more attention after the alley for VC.
