I have read some rumors about TMac having some issues with his wife but today's news about a death in his family which forced him to miss the game against the Warriors might shed some light about the truth behind his personal problems. The husband and wife thing might just be rumors because if it indeed happened how come TMac seems to be quiet about it. Any husband would be outrageous if he finds out that his wife is cheating and that their newborn child is not his. It will be hard to keep this thing personal.

It was his fiancee's mom...not his. Maybe they were close, but it couldn't be worse than the time like 7 people died on his side of the family.
Man my prayers are with Tmac and his family....dude sounds like he's goin through some real tough times right now.......and my dad and I figured that his personal problems might have something to do with his wife and kid........if she did cheat on him, then that hefer caused us a game!!!!
Clutch at CF says he received a phone call this morning that confirms the rumor about Mcgrady not actually being the father is garbage. So, hopefully that one can die quickly, as it would only add to McGrady's grief if it spread in the media.

Fox 26 showed film of Tmac revealing that his child's mother was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and lost the battle a couple of days ago. It is probably his daughter's mother. Tmac also said that basketball would be his scapegoat to get away from this. This is the personal crisis.

this is from some other houston rockets board a guy named "sjackson0" i think dats his name, says that t-mac thinks his fiance cheated on him and the new born child is not his, its someone else's thats why tmac wouldnt want to say it in public
T-macs personal crisis is beginning to concern me. It's severely affecting his game and he's merely a shadow of himself. Something must be really bad for him to play at a snail's pace.He barely gets over 14 points a game now.
Man this sucks in so many ways....I feel bad for T-Mac for having all this pressure and all this extra stuff to deal with, but at the same time, we need him to get 25-30 a night. I really hope he can shake this stuff soon...
