<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Cliff Robinson (A) ? We still say if he were 29 instead of 39, they?d be a title contender. Vince Carter (B+) ? Not as efficient as he was a year ago, but he?ll be better in the second half, if he doesn?t bruise something this weekend. Richard Jefferson ( ? Still the best defender and fill-in-the-blanks guy they have, but you can tell his nightly sacrifices are beginning to wear on the ego. Jason Kidd ( ? Defending better than we thought he would, still capable of dominating games, and ? who?d have thought? ? their most clutch shooter from 3 by far. Nenad Krstic ( ? Up from a C+ in just the last few weeks, showing more confidence in his long-range game, and grabbing more boards out of his area. Jason Collins (C+) ? The defensive anchor, and sometimes he looks as though he?s weighed down by one. Playing with pain every night. Jacque Vaughn (C+) ? If this grade were on a per-dollar scale, he?d get the only A+. There are better backup points, but he?s indispensable. Scott Padgett © ? Not consistent enough with the jumper, which is what he was brought in to hit, but a better rebounder than expected, and he makes the right pass. Antoine Wright © ? So far, we like what we see. He hasn?t done anything to be removed from the rotation, anyway. Marc Jackson (C-) ? Hasn?t received the floor time that he and management would like him to get, but his slow feet at the defensive end make him a bad fit here. Jeff McInnis (D+) ? Just a hunch: We haven?t heard the last of him, though that?s not necessarily a good thing. Lamond Murray (D) ? Helped them win a few games, but he couldn?t beat out a rookie for a rotation spot. Zoran Planinic (D) ? Really needs a change of scenery. Coach will never play him. Linton Johnson III (Inc.) ? He?s played 40 minutes all year. Lawrence Frank ( ? Kept the ship from hitting the rocks at 9-12, formulates sound schemes every night, has intimate knowledge of every opponent. But he could manage the bench better, and he has more unhappy guys than he?s aware of. Management © ? It?s still possible that the season?s epitaph will read, ?Should have taken a chance on Reef.? They?re still a big man shy of a serious playoff run, and that?s not all the coach?s fault</div> http://www.nj.com/newslogs/nets/index.ssf?..._02.html#114000
i dont see why vince is a B+ only reason he was better last year is because rj wasnt there and now he doest have to do as much and when he isnt efficient is when he ends up taking to many shots out of frustration cuz no one else can score which is mainly on the road and collins shouldnt even been on there hes been garbage every year f for him i dont even c why hes still playin 4 them
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting vcwannabe15:</div><div class="quote_post">Marc Jackson is a C- because he never get to start.</div> Because he doesn't play defense like Collins
I would give RJ a B+ or A, considering he's averaging close to 20 with limited shots. He's efficient and fairly consistent.
