<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">HOUSTON -- Gilbert Arenas is going to be busy for a guy who wasn't originally supposed to be at All-Star weekend. Arenas was chosen to replace the Phoenix Suns' Raja Bell in the 3-point contest, the NBA announced Friday. The league said Bell was excused because of a family illness. Arenas was not picked for the Eastern Conference All-Star team despite ranking fourth in the league with 28.3 points per game. He was added to the team by commissioner David Stern to replace injured Indiana forward Jermaine O'Neal. Saturday's 3-point contest also includes Ray Allen, Dirk Nowitzki, Quentin Richardson and Jason Terry. Arenas is shooting 34 percent from behind the arc this season.</div> http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2334638
Like I said in the other thread, way more deserving people than Arenas. If he wins, it would be a fluke, just like Q-Rich last year.
didnt read the article but what happend to raja bell? i hope arenas wins it though, but yea there are a lot others that deserve more than gilbert but still i hope he wins it
Wow might as call him Gilbert "The Replacement" Arenas. He wasn't suppose to be in envolved in AS weekend period and just like that he is in the game and 3pt contest. Oh and btw, Kyle Korver choose not to be in the 3pt contest.
