Even more of a reason why to get him more involved in the offense [IMG]

Exactly!

Congratulations to 'Dre, and he definitely put on a show tonight... hopefully he uses this as a springboard to take his game to the next level (assuming he gets the ball!).

Now he just has to take home the slam dunk championship tomorrow night...

I'd be really pissed if Cheeks doesn't start running more plays for him now. Did anyone else notice Alderidge or whatever tempting him to take shots at Iverson when he interviewed him when Iguodala got the trophy?

Dre had a great game! At first I was like you know he can do other things besides dunks, and then he starts hitting 3's. Man he had some sick dunks to, and he said that it was only a "sneak preview", he also said he is going to do something thats "never been done before" in the dunk contest so I am really excited for Dre!

Go Iggs!!!

The broadcasting team (Reggie, John Thompson and that other guy whose name I can't remember) were taking shots at Iverson throughout the second half... even if they were joking.

That's my boy! He's making a name for himself,if he wins tomorrow he should have more than enough of motivation to play well.

Weekend of the AIs?

Friday: Iggy takes home the Rookie Vs Sophomore MVP
Saturday: Iggy wins the slam dunk contest.
Sunday: AI leads the East to victory in a MVP effort.

If Mo Cheeks doesn't get AI2 involved in the offense more after witnissing this game I'm gonna be pretty ticked off.

People Iguodala had a nice game, and I agree he should get some more touches but you guys act like he went out in the all star game and scored 80 points. He scored 30 in a rookie sophomore game where nobody plays defense, and all his points were on dunks and wide open 3's.

iggy put up a great game and deserved the mvp. he truely has the pieces to become an all star in the future, but like B-22 said, dont get too high on him just for this performance. its just the rookie sophmore game and most of his points came from dunks anyways.

It doesn't matter if most of his points came from dunks and three-pointers... the rest of the guys on our team need to realize he has the ability to score, and they need to get him involved in the offense.

And yes, I do hope he has some energy left for tonight... Sixers played Wednesday and Thursday, and then the Rookie-Sophomore game last night, and then the dunk contest tonight.
