why did jerry west leave the lakers?

    Am I the only one that thinks this was a good trade? I mean The guy is aging. We didnt win the last two championships with him. Kobe was going to sign with the paper clips. [​IMG] I would have done the same thing. But I sure as hell wouldnt trade Shaq for Lamar Odom. I dont think kuptchak made this deal... Buss did. Buss just fell in love with kobe. In my oppionion losing West was the biggest and he left because the zen master said so
