There has to be a rematch next year.

    Here`s my thoughts:

Warrick- Pretty nice dunks, I was impressed with him.

Josh Smith- Like what can you say? Man when I put that tape down I was getting out of my chair ready to witness something great, but...nadda. Only thing is how come he only tried it once? Didn`t he have a few more turns?

Iggy- The back-of-board is one for the ages, and I thought his last one was pretty sweet running the baseline doing it, but cmon man, Iggy won this.

Nate- Even though he had too many attempts, his intended dunks were still pretty sick. But 14 attempts?

The Dunk Contest this year I thought was fun to watch. Just the TNT commentary cracked me up. But next year I hope theres a rematch.

Nates dunks were better than iggy. Iggy only had the behind the backboard and the bounce behind the back. Yeah right. Nate's dunks weren't even that good. The contest was over when it took him half an hour to do between the legs, he should have been disqualififed right there...but the judges kept him in the game by giving him a 44, when he should have got about a 40 or worse. Don't bring up how short he is either, he contstantly tried that between the legs, so he had to have done it before and its his fault if he didn't show up when its game time. I agree when people say that Iguodala used all his best dunks to early, but there never should have been a dunk off in the first place, you can thank Kenny Smith for that.

Nate only won because they wanted a "fairy-tale" finish. By bringing Spudd out, they made him win for nostaligia purposes. It sucks for Iggy, but theres nothing more that can be done about it. Imagine if he won Rookie MVP and the Dunk contest.

Yea it was like what Josh Smith did last year, except he actually had great dunks.

Um who can't jump over Spud Webb that's number one. Secondly Andre Iguodala got <font size=""4""><font color=""Red"">ROBBED. There is no way you can say it any better. That's all there is to it. Robbed.

nate robinson won it fair and square, when he did that 360, andre couldnt top it with his lame between the leg dunks, which he did twice, right? And nate robinson did a 360, did one of the greatest dunks of all time with spudd webb, and just overall brought more energy into the stadium then igoudala could, his iverson dunk was amazing, but besides that there was nothng special

Wait, so I'm a crybaby because I'm stating the obvious that 'Dre got robbed?

I guess everybody except for Knicks fans are mistaken in that aspect, right?

And for the record, I guarantee you I have more of a life than you, and if the contest was the other way around (i.e. Nate getting screwed), Knicks fans would be bitching 100x more... so don't talk.

And obviously, you are biased, and honestly cannot see the facts as to why the entire contest was rigged... or actually, refuse to see them.

But hey... y'all FINALLY won something... even if it was a gift from the judges. [IMG] I'm done arguing with you guys... just hope Nate has fun when he sees that trophy with Iggy's name on it every day of his life.

And whoever wanted a re-match, I'm pretty sure 'Dre isn't participating anymore.

The problem is you sound like a damn fool just talking. Apparently, EVERYBODY can do between the legs nowadays..doing it baseline is nothing special either...hmmm

Quoting GotSkillz92:

iggy;s last dunks were horrible. he ran out of ideas. that dunk shouldnt even got a 10.

Who sounds like they ran out of ideas: A twice attempted baseline BTL dunk, or a dunk that was attempted 14 times..? Do us a favor..go sit down.

Lame? Can you post a picture of you doing a BTL dunk on an 8 foot rim? Please?

I have to say though, I was severly disapointed with Josh Smith. He didn't bring any kind of energy into the arena and totally threw everyone off when he put the tape down. He DID copy Vince with the two-handed FT line dunk..but he's so long that it didn't look spectacular. I want to see Iggy in it next year.

I'm watching a round table discussion on NBATV, and five of the six guys felt Iggy was robbed last night, and was the more creative and better dunker, and two or three of them were judges.

Your totally missing the point, nate is practically the same size as spudd. What nate did would be the equivalent of kobe bryant dunking over michael jordan.

If its a 6'6" dunking over 5'7' guy then so what, but a 5'7" guy over a 5'7" guy is special. there has never been a dunk like that.

Honestly, of course the Nate Rob fans think it was just, and the Iggy fans are gonna cry out for Justice. As a neutral fan, I'll put it this way........

Robinson's difficulty level was amazing. To do what he did at his size was a joy to watch, and he brought excitment and flair and was a showman. I do beleive you should only have SO many attempts, that was rediculous, however, once he landed them, they deserved the score they got.

Iggy was consistent and pulled off one of the most creative and amazing dunks in ASG history. PERIOD! However, he tailed off hardcore, and 2 of his last 3 dunks were damn near identical. I wont say he was robbed, however I wont say he outright should have WON it either, he gave it away when he lost his creativness.

Lastly, the judges are just as much to blame. If anyone was paying attention,(other than hopping around screaming at things cuz they were pissed) the judges all looked at each other, and in sequence, raised just enought numbers to make it a tie and a "dunk off". Finally, raising a 10, only to drop it down to a 9, was one judge on the final dunk, to make Iggy lose by 1 point. So, indecisivness and plain poor attempt at "giving the crowd what they THINK they wanted" lead to an open discussion and what ultimatly may have been an unfair scoring.

That is what everybody is complaining about. Nobody is taking anything away from Nate... just the judges screwed it all up.

Why do you gotta hate on Nate? You can't fault him for getting the scores that he did, and the scores that Iggy got. It's not like he was one of the judges.

To be fair, Nate dunking of Spud is like T-Mac dunking over Kobe, Carter over Ricky Davis, KG dunking over Bosh etc.

In game. Vince over a 7 footer...

If a 6'6 Vince dunked over a cringing 7'2 center, don't tell me that Iggy can't dunk over Mike.

Yes, Iggy got robbed but it would have gone to another dunk off and I guess one of the judges did'nt want to see that so they put down thier 10 and gave him a 9.

Nate's dunk over Webb is overrated.I know a guy who can jump over a guy his size (The guy who's standin has to put his head down a little) and the jumper even doesn't play ball or do any other sports activities.
He's about Nate's size but noway is he able to dunk the ball,he even can't grab the rim.
Ofcourse it's a different thing to just jump over someone and dunk over someone but Im trying to show that it ain't that hard as some seem to make it look.
