Iguodala got robbed badly. This just means that if a 5 foot something guy ever participates in it and can dunk, there makes no sense to challenge cuz it's just going to be biased. I mean look how many tries they gave Nate. U'r supposed to get disqualified after 3 tries without success... They gave him a pity award, but its an award nontheless that Nate can put on his rack and Iguodala gets none even though he deserves the win. How can you give someone so many tries. In that case, everyone who does tests cannot fail, just keep giving them tries till they pass. Awards shouldn't be given out of pity, but out of success within the given confines of the rules.

Iggy didn't get robbed. Nate came on strong while Iggy floundered. He should've saved that come from behind the backboard dunk for the Finals. That was the sickest dunk of the night and ranks up there with some of the best of all time imo. Iggy did the more difficult dunks, but somehow it didn't show up that way. Maybe it was his order and selection of dunks. It made you expect more from him.

OTOH Nate jumping over Spud was pretty amazing for a man at 5-9. And he backed it up with the double between the legs, off-the-glass, windmill in the dunk off.

They should limit the number of dunk attempts to 3 or something. It takes away from the actual dunk if someone does it too many times.

If a 6'6 Vince dunked over a cringing 7'2 center, don't tell me that Iggy can't dunk over Mike.</div>

Again, nobody can be compared to vince nobody. but spudd did not duck! he stood staight up. even the 7 footer bent his neck a bit.

When josh smith dunked over that guy last night, the guy was practically bending down on the floor.

...anyways maybe they should have shared the trophy, they did that in the mvp games why not in the dunk?

Dude was bending cuz he was doing a 360. Kinda hard jumping over somebody standing straight up when your body is moving like that in the air. But yeah the Iguodala lambada dunk and his behind the back off the lob was the two best dunks I've seen period in a nba dunk contest IMO.

I don't have the patience to sit here and read all 9 pages, but let me just say, that's life sometimes.

Dirk shouldn't have won the three-point shootout
The Lakers shouldn't have gone to the Finals in 2002
Larry Johnson should have never made that four-point play

Just leave it as it is. The judges thought Nate should have won and he won.

These aren't posters or wallpapers, but some good photos. I got a mpeg-4 of the dunk contest for the PSP (link off the front page).

If you watch the replays, your can tell Spud moved back a bit in order to accomodate for Nate. Iguodala was robbed. In my opinion, Nate's shortness' advantages and disadvantages evens out. Although the dunks are harder, the judges give him better scores so its not like he only gets the short end.

I see your point, but I guarantee if Nate got screwed, Knicks fans would be complaining 100x more. Also, the judges didn't think Nate should have won. I was watching NBATV today, and the judges even felt 'Dre got screwed.

Nice quote in your sig, but that was just 'Dre being classy. Later on CSN he said he got robbed, and felt he deserved the title.

I see your point, but complaining about it won't give Iggy the title. I'm sure Iggy will be there next year and he'll have the chance to avenge himself.

It's a sick dunk, but we've seen Desmond Mason do a nicer, smoother and harder version of that dunk in the dunk contest a few years ago.

I've never seen someone turn like that, and do the dunk with their left hand though.

Nate's last dunk was sick. The pass he made was insanely difficult and than the finish was nice. I think that was better than Iggy's between the legs.

Are you talking about the one that took him 30 minutes to do?

Nate did not even clear Spud all the way he chipped his shoulder if you watch the replays.

I don't really see a turn in Iggy's dunk. Desmonds dunk was about parallel to the basket, and he brought the ball up high before putting it through his legs and finishing with his left hand.

Dala struggle to tied to the score, he got a 9 instead of a 10. If he got a tied it would of been tied

Dala was going to the same kind of dunks over and over, off the backboard was the most creative, the rest were repetive.

Nate had more ideas than Iggy and he proved it in the dunk off.

The reason why Nate could take 14 shots cause the dunk attempt was so difficult, Iggy had no chance to do the dunk that Nate did in the end.

Stop hating, the 76ers are underachievings, and Iggy didn't step it up in the end, deal with it, its reality.
