They've just announced the starters and I was happy to see that I did not hear one "boo" for Kobe Bryant...

    Here goes the game!!! [IMG]

It was funny when both the East and West starters did a dance.

I don't know what the hell that last play was, giving it to Tmac (the only guy who'd taken a 3 all night) was fine, but his shot was a terrible one, and he might have been fouled.

    sigh...

I thought Kobe made the all-star team. I saw him play very little minutes. It's a way of Avery Johnson getting back for the 62 game I guess.

Kobe played a decent amount. It's just that when he was in he wasn't looking to attack much or even at all. I guess he saw this game as an oppurtunity to show that he's liberal with the ball which could persuade some of these stars to consider joining him in La La Land.

You should be happy Kobe played very little minutes. Did you see him end the second half? He needs as much rest as he can get, becuase Lamar Odom definitely isn't taking and slack off of Kobe. Thank Avery Johnson.

Kobe... and the entire West team were trying to get T-Mac the MVP trophy. I think Kobe to T-Mac was the most duplicated assist to player the entire night.

Everyone on the west pretty much gave up the MVP trophy to try and get it for T-Mac.

But Kobe did have the best play of the night IMO when he went behind the back and through the legs to split the double team and then hit the tough fade-away. Sweet!

After watching the game imagine having t-mac in la!!! He and kobe had an amazing game together. If kobe had such a player to next him he would have 8+ assists a night. So tells bring T-Mac to LA and start an new dynasty!!!

What u guys think about that ???

Yeah T-Mac would compliment Kobe on the court.

How about NO to T-Mac. They BOTH demand the ball way too much. T-Mac won't be willing to give the ball to Kobe, and won't be willing to realize that this is Kobe's team, not his, and that would KILL the Lakers.

After years of not going anywhere, all-star players would be willing to sacrifice points for gold.

Best Potential Story That Could Have Saved "ESPN Hollywood"

On Friday afternoon, Sony invited me and a few other writers to hang out with LeBron as he played NBA '06 on a PlayStation 2, even giving me the chance to play against him. Of course, because we were in Houston and the guy with the PlayStation consoles got caught in traffic for an hour, we ended up watching LeBron play on a PSP for 30 minutes while he halfheartedly answered questions, finally getting up to leave, saying, "Bron Bron has other priorities," before they reminded him that he had to give us 10 more minutes. That was awkward.

With that, he took a seat and loosened up; I actually ended up liking him, although he definitely seems a little full of himself. (Can you blame him?) We learned that he's a "Madden" guy, that he beats up on everyone on the Cavs, that he owns three different iPods, that he "can't go nowhere without my iPod and my cell phone chargers," that he still thinks Detroit and San Antonio are the teams to beat, that he thinks the Cavs can play with anyone and that the toughest guys in the league for him to guard are Paul Pierce and Kobe.

I actually enjoyed this year's ASG. Everyone got a chance on the court and there was some decent defense with the 4 Pistons out there. Kobe's shot was way off, but he hit that sweet J near the end. I was hoping he'd share the court more with KG, but he definitely had some chemistry with TMac.
