IMO, I don't think LBJ won the AS MVP
It took him 21 field goal attempts to get those 29 pts
He only had 2 assists, although I respect the 6 rebounds
AI only had 1 pt (Mostly due to Flip Saunders) At halftime, he ended up with 13, whatever other statsitics he had, I have to look up. But even the statsitics, isn't what made him the MVP in my books. What did is that at halftime, the Western Conference had a 17 PT advantage. AI came out at a point in the game and hit a jump shot, and then other guys just started getting involved. And Big Ben, and alot of crucial plays were made off of Allen Iverson's energy.
This was a statsitical vote, that I think was not very fair, similar to the Dunk Contest IMO.
The Fan-Favorite of the game LBJ won the prize

Oh come on. This AI didn't get robbed.

Wade, Shaq, Billups played better than him

Mann, now you're stretching the Sixer love. AI did get the run going. But Lebron was the constant throughout that game. Yes, even during that run. The runner-up, IMO, was Chauncey.

(MOSTLY DUE TO FLIP SAUNDERS) AI had 1 pt at halftime. Nuff said, he scored 12 pts in the 2nd half, subtract any of them, and they lose easily.

If that's the case, remind me to have Maurice Cheeks as the coach so AI can get 30 and shoot 27 attempts too. LBJ took me out of the AS game personally.

Come on now you actually had a case for Iggy but Iverson he only had 13 Labron had 29 on 12-21 shooting and had alot of good defensive plays when the game was on the line. Iverson only had 12pts on 5-14 shooting, Shaq Wade and Billups (thats just the winning team) would have been better selections than Iverson. He (Iverson) played 18 mins and Billups played 11 and had 15pts 7ass. and 4rbs. Iverson only had 12,2,2.

Subtract any of Lebrons points they also lose. This is a pretty foolish arguement imo LBJ, Chauncey, Shaq, Then ill give you Iverson **** it ill even give him the nudge over Shaq because ima AI homer but not a big enough one to be stupid and say hes MVP

No, AI did not get robbed. Your just trying to make something out of nothing right now. Lebron deserved it he played great, and it's pretty much known that the leading scorer of the winning team wins MVP most of the time.

Iverson was horrible tonight. He hogged the ball, took bad shots, and did pretty much nothing positive on the court. As much as I love Allen Iverson, he played liek garbage. I personally like his team style of basketball he played the last two years.

Iverson had 18 mins, Wow I'm impressed, I thought Flip Sat him out longer then that. He had 14 attempts? Mark my words, the majority of the time he was passing the basketball. Billups was playing with his Piston friends, who are known for putting the ball in the basket, more so then playing around. AI had a bunch of "All-stars" Who kept turning the ball over, and missing ridiciliously easy attempts (See VC dunk at the end of the game)

To tell everyone the truth I was actually pulling for the west to win the game in the last couple of minutes just so Mcgrady could get the MVP. With all the off the court issues he has been having with his family. It would have been nice to see him win the MVP on his home court. Like Diesel said about AI though he had a pretty bad game overall even though it is just an all star game he missed several lay-ups in the first quarter, and took some really lousy shots. He ended up with a good amount of points, but it was basically volume shooting that got him those points. What was his field goal percentage at the end of the game anyone know? I’m an AI fan, but he did not deserve the MVP. Decides he has two already. Why does he need another? Does anyone really think that much of all star MVP awards any how?

LBJ played 7 more minutes then that of Allen Iverson. Chanucey Billups played the majority if not all of his minutes, with his piston friends. Dwyane Wade had 23 minutes, 2nd to LBJ Shaquille O'Neal will always dominate the basketball. AI ignited a run, that's my opinion.

Saying Shaq dominated the basketball over AI is just silly. Guards are the guys who domiante the basketball and tonight LeBron James was dominating the basketball for the East for the majority of the game.

Wow what game were you watching? He had a solid amount of points, and he did not hog the ball. He never hogs the ball in All Star games and I hate it when he does it because he really passes to much.

But come on man, grow up! There is no way in the world AI was the MVP of this game. If he went out there like Bron and shot every time he touched he could have got MVP though.

When I said Dominate, I mean put the ball in the basket, he was effective. There were IMO better then LBJ. T-MAC put on a show.

Mann, I can't handle your logic. You're basically saying that minutes shouldn't affect who wins MVP? So what, we take the player with the highest pts per 48 mins? I still doubt it would be Iverson.

AI was hogging the ball every change he got. The few times he gave it up were when there was a guy going for the alley oop or to Shaq because we all know Iverson has a lot of respect for Shaq. On that last play Wade knew AI was going to take it so he got ready to dive in for that offensive rebound.

I love AI, but he had an ugly game. His points were quiet, I must admit I didn't know he hit double figures.
