It's just odd that a very good team can come out and play like a bunch of losers every so often. Is it a lack of heart? Do they just give up after a certain point? What is up with these guys?

    Lost to Duke by 31
    Lost to Tennessee by 17
Lost to Oklahoma State by 21

That is just embarrassing. I don't understand how a team of that calibre can get just plain blown out so many times. Their one other loss was a bit closer, by 10 at Oklahoma.

I don't watch them much but I imagine that the biggest problem is inconsistency among the players. Gibson and Aldrigde could give you 60 points combined one night and the next its 12 points. PJ Tucker seems pretty consistent but hes not good enough to carry the team. Right now they only have like 2 seniors on their roster, if they can keep at least 2 of their big 3 they should be pretty good next year.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Texas is inconsistant but on the other hand it's better to get those silly losses out of the way early so that they don't come late in the season. I'm going to say that Texas will still get a number 2 seed in the tourny so this loss won't hurt them that much and they are still going to be my favorite to win it all.

I think it's a pretty obvious explanation: they're talented as hell, but they don't care about defense, they turn the ball over, and their coach is more focused on recruiting than getting his team to play hard and tough. This is why they will continue to be ranked high and talked about due to their talent, but ultimately will disappoint. I don't think they're a Sweet 16 team.

A loss is a loss, but always made worse by being a blowout, especially when you're a high profile team. What if they had only lost to these teams by single digits? It would still hurt...

Texas is dominating Kansas right now they have made Rush a none factor, and are up by 20 coming down the stretch. Seven minutes left in the game Aldridge has 16 at this point.
