<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Middle man: Center Chris Mihm, who missed six games with a sprained right shoulder, is expected to play tonight against Portland. Mihm practiced Monday with a protective pad on the shoulder. "I'm going to approach it that I'm going to go out and play the full game and we'll see as it goes," Mihm said. "I don't want to go into the game thinking about the shoulder and worrying about that. I'm going to go in with confidence and play." Mihm has been having the best season of his career, averaging 10.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. The Lakers had been starting Kwame Brown and Brian Cook while Mihm was injured; his return means one of them will come off the bench. Cook had back-to-back 28- and 27-point games with Mihm out and averaged 17.2 points on 42-of-70 shooting (60 percent) in those six games. The decision about who starts will be made by Jackson, who also values Brown's defense and rebounding. "I feel like my legs are warmer," Cook said. "I'm more of in a groove coming off the warm-up rather than coming off the bench being stiff and all." Cameo appearance: Jackson left practice early to see the dentist and turned over media responsibilities over to assistant Brian Shaw. "We have to get back to fundamentals, get back to basics," Shaw said. "Our defense is probably our No. 1 priority. The last few losses that we've had, allowing teams to score over the 100-point mark, is not going to get it done for us." </div> Source
LOL, I knew Jess was gonna post in here, Chris' biggest fan =) I'm thrilled that he's gonna be back in the line up, I honestly think he was the KEY reason why we lost those games, Mihm has been doing much better not getting into foul trouble and he is as CONSISTENT as can be at getting us 10+ pts and and contributes on the rebounds. Welcome back Chris
Found this on an NBA Look-A-Like thread on a forum, thought it was pretty funny. Chris Mihm http://www.alibali.net/images/seinfeld_kramer.jpg"> Here http://yaomingmania.com/forum/viewtopic.ph...0de65c038c6607b
I just saw the thread and got a pretty good laugh. It's amazing, about 3/4's of the players that i thought resembled someone were the ones on the list.
Phil Jackson as Colonel Sanders, LOL Nothing beats Avery Johnson as Stitch, that is TOOOOOOO HILARIOUS.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">LOL, I knew Jess was gonna post in here, Chris' biggest fan =) </div> Am I really that predictable?lol I actually just started becoming a big fan of his this season. It used to be all about Kobe for me. Derek Fisher used to be my favorite player before he left the team. I still think he's a really good player but I don't get to see him play that much since he's on Golden State now.
Chris Milm looks alot like Jack (Mathew Fox) from Lost TV show. For some reason chris milm always pop into my head when i watch lost hahahah
