Jaric To Wolves: "Make A Move" <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Point guard Marko Jaric, whose name has surfaced in trade rumors since his demotion from the starting lineup earlier this month, admitted that he's curious as to whether any moves will happen before the deadline. He didn't say he wants to be traded, but his comments continue to reflect his frustration. Casey reiterated that Jaric and forward/center Eddie Griffin remain important to the team's success, even though both have seen their playing time drop sharply. Jaric said he appreciates Wolves management's public statements of support, but that doesn't change the fact he isn't playing much. "It's not what we said, it's what we do," Jaric said. "I respect and appreciate how they talk to the media. I just want to see if they really want me to be a part of this team. Nobody needs to baby me and tell the media Marko's good or Marko's bad. I know my value. If you really respect me, then show me. If not, then make a move. That's the bottom line." Asked to explain what he meant when he said "make a move," Jaric again stopped short of saying he wants to be traded. He reaffirmed his frustration with his personal struggles.</div> Source This franchise is screwed up from top to bottom.
It's a real shame to see such a talented organization struggle like this. Jaric has the potential to be a decent player in this league, it's just that his confidence took a shot since getting shipped over from Los Angeles. Ricky Davis should have helped, but he - along with Marcus Banks - aren't near enough to turn this team around. Here's to a happy and healthy 2006-2007 season for the Minnesota Timberwolves and my hometown Seattle Sonics. Nothing like a good race to finish a season, right?
Wow I can't believe we lost this game tonight after getting up big after the 1st quarter, then i came back and saw we lost by 12 getting outscored 31-9 in the 2nd quarter which is amazing, i wonder how they managed only 9pts...
I'd say what Wally thinks he is is better than what Marko actually is but what Marko thinks he is is better than what Wally is and what Wally thinks he is combined with, say, Steve Nash.
